Poor , for the money room size and quality of stay was not great
Pros:

View was good , room was not upto great standard for the price . Bathroom was good size and clean

Cons:

Room size and for the money we expected lake front but was given smaller room and parking side

Interesting.
Pros:

Upgraded to executive suite as our booked room was being renovated. Included spa bath.

Cons:

The owners did not allocate enough staff, and the manager had to do everything- which he did as well as humanly possible. Checking in, starting sauna and spa, restaurant waiting AND cooking.

Very comfortable room, beautiful facilities and grounds, delicious food and friendly staff.
Pros:

We had an amazing two night stay at VR Rotorua Lake Resort. The king room was spacious, cozy, warm in the middle of winter, and had a beautiful lake view. We enjoyed using the spa pool and sauna, all the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the chicken tandoori, and filet mignon from the hotel restaurant were cooked to perfection. Would definitely recommend and return for another stay in the future.

Beds comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice too.

Cons:

Walls were thin so you good hear your neighbours and the room just needed a little updating but for the price, location and the fact the staff were friendly, helpful and breakfast was nice it wasn't a real problem

Clean, comfortable.
Pros:

Nice restaurant, meals tasty. Room comfortable. Staff pleasant. Nice location by lake.

Cons:

Pool Green, was emptied while we were there. Electric cable stretch across from spa pool... dangerous! Spa could do with a clean!
Wouldn't call it a ' resort' but ok for a cheap stay. With a little TLC could be really nice.

The host were the highlight, and the spa.
Pros:

The room I stayed in was absolutely amazing, the bath was my favourite part. Also the host were very accommodating, I am not an easy guest I have many requests and they cater to them all. 10/10

Wonderful spot to stay
Pros:

Lovely accommodation, very comfy and clean. Huge property with wonderful staff.

Cons:

About 15 mins drive from town but this also made it very quiet at night
