Dont stay here as its like a sauna
Pros:

Poor stay - room was like a sauna making it very uncomfortable to sleep for my infant and myself who is heavily pregnant

Returning Guests
Pros:

As returning guests for several years Apex never disappoints..(we did get an upgrade which was great quay side view) We booked the Restaurant for three Friday evening and got the deal tomahawk steak to share as we were looking forward to this ,Steak on the small side not alot of meat for 2 and the side of onion rings were burnt . We always get a good meal however not on this occasion we left disappointed.

Great location, lovely facilities, friendly staff
Pros:

Room was lovely and we were treated to an upgrade which was great. There was a fab selection of toiletries in the room. The view from our room was a bonus too. We made use of the access to the pool/spa area too.
The member of staff who checked us in was so friendly and sorted out our parking.. (Our room was ready early too - really flawless - thank you!

Cons:

The only thing I would say is the room was very hot. We still managed to sleep well but may have struggled on a warmer day.

Chilled environment solo or couples
Pros:

One and only favourite in Dundee, location and facilities are the best. Breakfast is good. It’s completely chill vibes! I will never stay anywhere is in Dundee.

Cons:

I have been here many a times and only once had a very small issue that was resolved quick and easy. The staff are amazing. Even better you can communicate via what’s app.

Overall it was a lovely stay, although would have preferred air conditioning or being able to lower the room temperature

One night stopover
Pros:

Great location near the train station which was ideal for staying the night while passing through Dundee. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Room was clean and modern.

We had dinner in the restaurant during our stay. There was an event going on in the hotel that evening, this did not deter from the quality of service. We were very impressed with the speed and efficiency of the service we received. The quality of the food was fantastic.

Breakfast was great and offered a number of continental options, as well as breakfasts made to order.

Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Really lovely stay with exceptional staff
Pros:

I was having a bad pain flare up and the staff were very kind, in particular one lady at the spa who went above and beyond and was exceptionally helpful and knew about it. It really made a world of difference as I often don't have that.
