Carpets could have been cleaner. Stains on them not good.
The Property itself is in a Lovely Location, The Rooms are Clean & Spacious, The Amenities within it having A Large Pool & Spa on Site is Perfect.
The Breakfast was Delicious & the Staff were Friendly & Efficient.
Nothing to Dislike
The location and breakfast were great! The room for the price was great as well. We were comfortable.
Our bathroom was in need of repair. The wall behind the toilet had pretty bad water damage and the toilet felt as if it would fall off the wall when sitting on it. I included a picture, the darkness on the wall is not shadow.
We both loved the breakfast, especially the choices, speedy service and lovely environment.
A special mention for David on the desk. We thoroughly enjoyed our wee chats with him but the other staff were friendly too.
We really appreciated the fact that the hotel provided the opportunity to watch one of Scotland's World Cup matches in the Function Suite and it was absolutely brilliant to be served with hot pies at half time. This was true hospitality!
One quibble- it was a bit difficult to work out how to use the shower, but it worked well.
All the staff (in reception, the spa & the bar) were all very welcoming, polite and efficient - a credit to the hotel.
My room (526)was spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable - just what I needed after a long trip.

There was no air-conditioning in our room. A desk fam was provided. Because of unusually hot weather, this was inadequate. Parking charge of £7.00 per day is outrageous, especially for hotel residents.

The electric charging point at the hotel was useful. The staff are friendly
The lift on the top floor was not working. The shower drain was fully blocked. The window was covered in bird poo.
