Reception staff were very nice and location is very good for Wembley concerts. Unfortunately those were the only positives!
So many negatives. We paid £400 for one night in a twin room - Friday 26 June - due to Harry Styles concert nearby. The same room is being advertised on Booking.com at only £79 for the same night three weeks later. So it vastly inflates pricing due to concerts. Wouldn’t have minded paying this if there weren’t so many things wrong here. Toilet had not been cleaned before we checked into our room - it had ”skid marks”. WiFi was advertised as available throughout the hotel but it was not working in our room every time we tried to use it due to poor signal. Electronic in-room safe was already locked shut when we checked in so we couldn’t use it. VERY noisy stand-alone aircon unit meant not much sleep, so the room was cold but extremely noisy, and it was extremely hot in the bathroom. Shower water was cold and bath tap pumped out hot water at same time as the cold shower overhead - so I couldn’t ask my hair or shower properly. No in-room fridge. TV (smallest I’ve seen) wouldn’t switch on. Dirty marks on bedroom wall. No plugs beside or anywhere near either bed - very inconvenient for charging phone. Terrible value for £400 regardless of location and nice staff.
Brilliant location and great that parking was included.
The location
The bed wasn’t very comfy & the air con unit was very loud!
It's location to venues like Wembley Stadium and Ovo Arena. It's also a budget friendly hotel.
No breakfast included.
Great customer service
The location was great.
Facilities in the room were very poor considering the price was over 250 a night for a double room. Extortionate when a concert is on. No fridge in the room, towel rail was broken and only 1 hand towel. Tea/coffee making facilities and were bare minimum, not even a biscuit. Very dated decor for those prices. No breakfast included.
Check in staff were friendly
Hotel is in a great location for Wembley
Good air conditioning
The hotel is very dated
The room had someone else's food on the floor i don't think it had been hoovered for a while.
Not a comfortable bed, and there were hairs in the bathroom.
Our train was cancelled so we luckily were picked up after the concert and didn't need to stay
The staff were all friendly and helpful
Our air con was a portable system attached to the wall with a plastic tube. No fridge in room. Limited choice for breakfast.
Location was amazing. Hotel needed everything we could ask for whilst our short stay.
Nothing I didn’t like
Location. Helpful and friendly staff.
Very dated. Definitely in need of an update. Sink in bathroom was blocked and a plug in the bathroom left on the side full of hair (my worst nightmare) Kettle didn’t get used as could see not clean on the outside. Bed sheets were clean
The staff were very in helpful i will never stop at this hotel again ever
Staff
No volvería
Nothing
I have paid for Premier suite but soon as I walked into the room, I was gone to the 1947 Nothing was working I came to reception to complain about 10 people already was there complaining about AC is not working. TV is not working. Bed was making noise.
There was a nice easy check-in and all of the staff that we came into Contact we were really friendly.
It was in fantastic proximity to Wembley Arena, about five minute walk away if that!
The room was spacious, so we had plenty of room to get changed and ready to head down to see Harry Styles.
We stayed for one night and unfortunately the room didn’t meet the standard you’d expect for £200+ per night. The space felt tired and poorly maintained. There was glue on the fire detector holding it together, the curtains were hanging off with missing hooks, and we even found someone’s eyelashes stuck to the bathroom wall — a clear sign the room hadn’t been cleaned properly.
The bed wasn’t much better. The mattress protectors were the plasticky kind you’d expect in a budget hotel, and both the pillows and mattress were extremely hard, making it difficult to sleep comfortably. You could also see where pictures had been removed and the screws simply painted over, which added to the overall worn feel.
Staff were pleasant enough, but the room itself felt cheap, rushed, and lacking care. I’ve stayed in central London for less money and had a far fresher, more comfortable experience. Sadly, I wouldn’t return based on this stay.
The bed is sooo comfy
Again - ALL of the lights in the room and the bathroom are TOO BRIGHT
The tea and coffee is cheap and you don’t have proper mugs - just teacups with no saucer and the bathroom toiletries are cheap and nasty 🤢
Very good location
Comfy bed & decent sized room
Staff friendly
Very out dated and could do with some general repairs, our bathroom was clean but tiles damaged, grout needed redoing. Suprised to see a shower curtain in a shared space which felt dirty
