Price
We were offered a slightly larger room which could fit an extra single bed for an additional $60.
The room turned out to be one for disabled access with a large bathroom with no toilet seat lid, towel rails or any other surface to put any towels, clothes or other personal items. The extra bed turned out to be a fold up camp bed which was only installed after we asked for it & then collapsed when sat on. We then had to also request the extra towels.
Good
Reeked of cigarettes totally gross had to sleep with the window wide open.
Everyone was very friendly and helpful I cannot speak bad about the staff at all they were very helpful
I don’t see why microwaves can’t be in the hotel it would mean a lot to those who aren’t here very long and have the ability to bring simple meals back to their rooms
Great value for money, central location close to beautiful waterfront. Staff extremely helpful
Location is great
Cost for parking
The Cleaner obviously didn't clean the fridge as there was food still in it from someone else.
central to everything great location
Good location, comfy bed, friendly staff
Hotel looked a bit tired, rundown thought it was a bit exspensive for what it is.
Convenience and clean
Only 2 pillows
Cleanliness, room was good, bed was very good, But with no surprise, we expected IBIS to be on the lower end of the upmarket hotel experience. Location is good being very near the centre of town, therefore walking distance to everything in the 2 km radius.
Thought the bathroom was well presented, to me, it felt like a upmarket portaloo with shower. I just prefer the conventional tiled type of bathroom. They need to get a new mini bar fridge. Ours sucked with water pooling on the bottom of the fridge.
