Against all public hygiene policies
Pros:

I paid extra money for an upgrade I have no idea if that happened.
There was no information provided to confirm.
When I went to get the key there were no staff at the service desk.
People had to wait approx 10 to 15 minutes to get attended.
The room they gave me was totally different to the picture they provided on line

Cons:

The room was filfithy there were another persons body hair on the bathroom skirting boards and the floor.
I have pictures to confirm.
This is a reportable offence .
I will never use ibis again.
Disgusting
You should really refund the cost in full

WORTH IT DEFINITELY FOR GOOD ROOM AND BREAKFAST
Pros:

Good quiet room and a very good buffet breakfast with instant taxi calling service for guests easily walkable to Coles shops etc

Definitely would stay again if it was my second last choice.
Pros:

I liked how it was small and compact. The room itself wasn't too big but it was perfect for a single guy such as myself who was purely travelling for mates.

Cons:

The location was pretty abysmal right in the centre of the city, however it did make it ideal when looking around Newcastle but there was always noise and traffic and the KFC next door didn't shut until midnight.

Great facilities, was easy locations and good room size.

Room had a smell and the shower made mess on the floor, requiring extra towels to dry up.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was good and the parking was good too.
Pros:

We left before the allotted check out time as we had things planned. The location was good for us and it was a quiet area.

Cons:

The upstairs hallways were musty smelling and the carpets need a good clean. No staff behind the counter in the morning when we checked out. I wanted to ask a couple of questions.
