Not what I expected from an Accor property.
Pros:

Bed was amazing. Good location. Easy parking. Pleasant enough staff.

Cons:

Corridor stunk of cigarette smoke. Room was clean but had a slight smell of cigarette smoke. Not expected nor comfortable for a non smoking hotel room. Bathrooms vents are very poor and you have to keep bathroom doors closed whilst showering so that the fire alarms don’t go off but the air vent does not extract the steam from a warm shower let alone a hot shower very well so it feels like you are in a sauna. I can see why people leave the door open.
Breakfast buffet was basic but good value with enough of an option but the eggs and the bacon was cold and looked like it had been there a very long time. Would have been nice to know that parking was an extra $25 per night before I booked the room. Thought that was very expensive for a basic regional hotel parking. Also no direct reservations. Do it on net through various websites or call America!

Ok
Pros:

Location and rooms

Cons:

I discovered the room door lock didn’t work, when I woke up the next morning. The staff checked and agreed it wasn’t working, they said they’d been changing over locks and mustn’t have done my room. They apologised but didn’t offer any discount or refund. It wasn’t a good feeling knowing my door had been open all night. The staff didn’t seem to acknowledge this

It was fine for a couple of days or nights but not for longer stays.
Pros:

location, though Hunter St in parts looks very shabby.
Our room was quiet and our bed very comfortable. I had to ask for another blanket but we still needed to leave the heating on overnight. the window would not open even a bit for ventilation. the en suite was small but nice and smart and quite adequate. It would have been nice not to have to ask at reception for more Tea bags and milk. The scene on exiting the lift on level four was very basic, bland, without colour and the furniture there didn't look inviting. The lift was quick and efficient and we didn't have to wait long.

Cons:

See above!
