This hotel is a real gem in central Toronto. The staff were helpful and courteous. The room was enormous, heated floor in the bathroom with bath and shower, walk-in closet, massive television set, comfortable bed, complimentary water, tea and coffee. The pool and gym were inviting and never full. The adjoining café (did not try the restaurant) served delicious meals, some might say pricey, but you must pay for quality products. Parking right under the hotel. Nothing can be faulted. Top marks!
Absolutely nothing at all. Maybe the café needs to address their flies situation - I'm sure they are aware. Not a dealbreaker, the food was covered with either cloches or cling film.

Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing and did not meet the expectations we had for a property at this price point.
One of the biggest issues was that it was not clear when booking that the residences do not include daily housekeeping. We specifically chose a residence expecting the same level of service as the hotel, only with more space. Instead, we paid more while receiving fewer services.
We even paid extra for a housekeeping service during our stay. Before they came, we specifically asked them to clean behind the sofa because our 3-year-old son had been sleeping there. Unfortunately, that area was not cleaned at all, and even the dishwasher was left full. It certainly did not feel like a proper housekeeping service.
Before arriving, we requested a mattress on the floor for our 3-year-old son, as he is too old for a crib and we did not want him sleeping in our bed. When we arrived, nothing had been prepared. Instead, staff later brought us a crib, but our son simply did not fit in it. Since no floor mattress was ever provided, despite our request, he ended up having to sleep on the sofa for our entire stay, which was far from ideal—especially considering we had booked one of the largest residences.
We were also surprised by scheduled fire alarm testing shortly after our arrival. We had not been notified in advance; we only found a notice once we were already at the property. The alarm woke our son from his nap. The staff were kind enough to stop the testing temporarily, and we appreciated that, but had we been informed beforehand, we likely would have chosen a different hotel.
Access to the residences was also inconvenient, with multiple elevators and a confusing route that made getting to the room more difficult than expected.
The residence itself also felt dated. The doors did not close properly and the apartment generally felt worn rather than luxurious.

Location, cleanliness, silent rooms despite being on a busy road, friendly staff.
The fact not all our rooms were ready at the advertised check in time. After a day travelling from the UK having to wait for one of the rooms was frustrating.

I did not like that the gym opens at 8am during the weekends especially when access to the gym or hotel room is through a key card. Why is the gym not 24 hours like other hotels?

Not really a full service hotel - more “apart hotel”….
Location is ideal being walking distance to CN tower, harbour and much more of the town. Easy secure parking, great gym and pool. Beds really comfy
