Pros:

Clean, grounds were nice and it was a relaxing atmosphere. Cracking hotel

Cons:

BEDS! Too soft and pillows were massive that caused stiff neck overnight. Otherwise room was fantastic out with the constantly running toilet.

this hotel is badly needing investment to bring it up to date and to tidy up the grounds .
Pros:

the staff were friendly and mostly carried out their duties satisfactorily

Cons:

our room was on the third floor and the decor and furnishing was dated. the hotel makes a lot of their garden which historically would have been wonderful in terms of the formal garden and the vegetable garden, However all these areas were badly needing a lot of attention - tidying and weeding and the grounds of the hotel were similarly neglected

Wunderbar entspannend, gemütlich!
Pros:

Wunderschöne, gepflegte Anlage! Geräumiges Zimmer mit großem Panoramafenster. Kaffeemaschine und selbst gebackene Kekse auf dem Zimmer. Viele wunderschöne Sitzecken im Hauptgebäude.

Cons:

Der Rauchmelder war so hell, dass mir nachts geradezu geblendet wurde.

I could imagin staying any other place when I return.
Pros:

Sara and the staff were increadably accomidating to my schedule. Everyone on staff we great in helping with questions and relocating our luggage to a new room for the last night.

Cons:

The shuttle did not seem to be utilized. We needed to travel by taxi twice a day to downtown St. Andrews. IT would have been a nice accomidation to have available.

Delightful country hotel
Pros:

Great location in the countryside but within easy reach of St Andrews and its golf courses. Beautiful gardens. Elegant mansion house. Tasty breakfast.

Cons:

Impossible to open the bathroom window, fixings were damaged. Personnel at breakfast not too friendly. But nothing serious.
