The staff were extremely helpful. The breakfast had a good range of food and was fresh and well prepared. The rooms were very clean. The whole experience was delightful.

Location .. could not be more central. Really lovely staff, comfort and had everything we needed. Even left coffee and croissants out for people leaving for flights. Be aware an hour to get to airport and a long time to go through migration. At present .we left at 6.15 for a 10am flight and only just made it.

The hotel breakfast was cold items, like hard boiled eggs, sliced meats and cheeses, pastries, etc., but okay. The hotel location is in the downtown area and has restaurants and shopping nearby. My room was clean and included a mini-refrigerator.
The hotel is nice, but an older one. There are three steps and a somewhat heavy front door to carry your baggage through into and out of the hotel. My room did not have air conditioning, but had a window that could be opened for some fresh air. There was no safe in my room. There was some nightly street noise, like car honking, loud motorcycles, and some loud outdoor talking from nearby bars.
Great location and helpful staff! This hotel is in a great space for Reykjavík city center hotels. Transport to and from the BSI terminal and to and from the airport is a nice easy walk or bus ride. Breakfast was great, hotel staff were kind, and our room was clean. Shower water pressure and temperature were perfect.
There weren’t a lot of plugs in the room. If you need to plug in 4 devices, like 2 phones and 2 watches, it’s mildly annoying.

As a tea drinker, I'm always annoyed to find that the hot water for tea is made by running it through the coffee maker, as is the case here. It give the tea a very unpleasant taste. This means too that the water is not hot enough to make tea. Also, this facility is not appropriate for those with mobility issues: There are several high concrete steps up to enter with a heavy door that opens out. It's difficult even for the able bodied to get heavy luggage into the hotel.

The location it's by the downtown
It was too hot and they don't have Aircon and we're honestly suffocated that's why I reported it at the reception until the cleaner provided us with two electric fans! It's honestly very expensive to pay more than $1k while the hotel is very ugly and the foods are really yucky NOT REALLY WORTH THE MONEY! I don't know why customers from White Countries had very positive outlook or experienced in this ugly and very expensive hotel! Never coming back to this country! I don't know if the Booking.com is hiding the negative comments because all I read that popped up are the positive comments! They are promoting ugly and very expensive hotels! I should stop using this 3rd party in the future!
