Hôtel à fuir !
Pros:

We had a comfortable night but we were not sorry to leave.
Pros:

We got a parking spot right by the entrance.

Cons:

Finding it was difficult as there was no visible signage.

Lovely room, breakfast and friendly staff very quick to resolve any issues. Great location for town
Pros:

Room was lovely, better than expected. Bathroom was lovely, reception staff great and friendly and very quick to help with anything you need. Great base location to walk into Canterbury high street. Shame it did not have aircon as we stayed in the recent heatwave. Quirky volumn button in the bathroom which we thought would be for a radio but it was for the TV

Cons:

No aircon, one window in room would not open. We had to enquiry about room cleaning as we did not realise they only do it when you request it, unfortunately we had to ask for a sheet for the bed and a fan as not in the room but the hotel was lovely. Not big issues really.

Suite was a nice room.
However at this price point I would expect air con

Cons:

No air con.
Shame hotel is having a refurb as would like to see it all open
(We was told refurb so this isn’t a criticism

Staff excellent but needed help, not sure what the chef was doing though
Pros:

The very 2 female staff did their best but had no support at all

Cons:

We had to ask for a top sheet for the bed, we only had a bottom sheet and nothing else.
We booked dinner for 6 people at 7pm, 5 ordered fish & chips and 1 a burger. After an hours wait we were served in dribs & drabs the 5 fish & chips but not the sauces and peas, some arrived but others came after we had finished. The burger didn’t arrive for another half an hour.
The fish portions were half the size of those we had enjoyed at Chilworth Manor hotel, also a best western, just 4 weeks ago.
Very disappointing.

Convenient location for exploring Canterbury
Pros:

Clean, tidy and comfortable room with excellent en-suite shower/bath facilities. Helpful staff. Convenient food available in the bar, although the dining room is being renovated at present. Front desk staff pleasant and helpful.
Very convenient for the centre of town with free car parking a significant bonus in a town where parking is difficult and expensive. Easy walking distance to main tourist sights and other restaurants.

Cons:

The only view from the room was a dark roof and a blank brick wall, rather claustrophobic. The room was equipped with an air conditioning unit, but this was not in use; a shame as temperatures were above 30degC during our stay. We were supplied with a silent and effective fan, which helped overnight. We stayed three nights but our rubbish bins were not emptied during this stay (albeit we didn't request room service). Evening meal in bar, although tasty, had small portions and seemed pricey.

Comfortable and accommodating but could improve as suggested
Pros:

Good location with parking, staff all very helpful and good choice of food for breakfast and dinner although pastries were not replenished on second morning

Cons:

Room was extremely hot with inadequate fan. No bottled water or glasses in room and very limited supply of tea or coffee or milk though when asked more was offered. As stay two nights a second cup for each would have been appreciated. Very limited outdoor seating.

Pros:

Location to the city centre which includes supermarkets

Cons:

We had two rooms booked at the same price - one room was double the size of the other and not sure why.

Pros:

The staff are all excellent, its a great location with a very straight forward 10min walk into Canterbury.

Cons:

We were unlucky for Breakfast as a group of 50 turned up about 30mins before us, so everything was gone but the staff ran around stocking everything up as quickly as possible and could not apologise enough.
