Hier kun je prima 1/ 2 nachtjes verblijven, heel aardig personeel, op loopafstand van het centrum.
Pros:

Het personeel is uiterst vriendelijk, heel behulpzaam en kundig. Het ontbijt was een compleet lopend buffet met alles wat je ervan mag verwachten. En de locatie is heel dichtbij het centrum zodat je in tien minuten lopen alles kunt bezichtigen of winkelen.

Cons:

Het is een hotel dat gedeeltelijk wat verouderd is, maar dat zijn ze nu aan het opknappen. En helaas was het uitzicht van de kamer niet mooi, een plat dak met allemaal ventilatiebuizen. Maar verder is het keurig schoon en de bedden zijn prima!

Difficult to find as there were no signs! Obviously under some process of restoration but nothing current visible. Has a lot of potential but not fully operational at present.

Breakfast ok first day - non existent on second day

Cons:

Room wasn’t as advertised, very poor quality for over £200 per night. Cleanliness awful, extractor fans running 24 hours and air con noisy. Useless response from staff on all issues.

Sehr schönes Hotel
Pros:

Das Hotel hat eine gute Ausgangslage für Unternehmungen in der Stadt inkl. kostenlosem Parkplatz. Die Einrichtung ist sehr schön und besonders. Das Personal war überaus freundlich und bemüht. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und typisch Englisch.

Cons:

Die Toilettenspülung hatte wenig Druck. Das Wasser im Waschbecken sowie in der Dusche/Badewanne floss sehr schlecht ab.
Die Kaffeemaschine beim Frühstück gab lediglich schwarzen Kaffee aus, egal ob man Cappuccino oder Latte auswählte.

FANTASTIC very welcoming
Pros:

Even though it was being refurbished. It caused Absolutely zero problems. Staff were all lovely. Welcomed our 2 chihuahuas. Lovely patio garden area. With allocated poo bin. Shirt walk into town. We stayed here for one night before traveling on the eurotunnel.
It was nice to stay in a room with absolutely no animal smells room was perfect. Bathroom had shower and bath combined. Coffee facilities. Cannot fault will definitely be staying here next year.

We stayed in the new wing, so it felt very fresh and clean. Bed was comfortable. Many outlets for plugging in electronic devices and charging cords.
Very walkable to get to city center.

Cons:

The signage from the street entrance could be more visible. We missed it the first time and had to go around and try again.
