Hot Springs Inn

No hot springs here! I completely missed this disappointing fact when planning our trip, which included reading TA reviews. We did enjoy the sound of the river and the spacious room. Only modest water pressure in shower. Folgers and packaged breakfast à la Days Inn or low cost budget motels vs commensurate with cost of this spot.

In Ouray, you are limited on hotels when you are only in the area for one night. We found the HSI and it was available. Overall, a solid hotel that is unique with the decor. Our room was clean and the bed slept well. All the rooms have a patio or balcony and overlook the river walk and the river. It is located about a half mile north of town, very walkable on the riverwalk or along the road (no sidewalk). There is no elevator, so beware if you want a balcony vs patio room. They have a hottub and grill, plus ample free parking. The breakfast is a limited continental.

Absolutely loved this place!! Bobbie was so incredibly welcoming, friendly and so helpful. Everyone we came in contact with was so kind - Gerald, Wendy and Mari! The continental breakfast area was so clean and had a wonderful variety of things for breakfast. Loved that they had fresh fruit! Our room was so comfortable and nice. We loved the river being right next to the Inn. Bed was incredibly comfortable. This place had such wonderful decor and such nice extra touches! This hotel is one of the nicest ones we have stayed and definitely the friendliest staff by far!! We will definitely stay there again and will recommend this Inn to our friends and family! Thank for the wonderful stay!

We spent one night at the Hot Springs Inn recently during a family Colorado road trip, and it absolutely lived up to the excellent reviews that led me to book it in the first place.

The hospitality stood out from the very first interaction. I called to make the reservation because we needed two rooms for our family, and the woman who helped me could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. On the day of our arrival, we realized we would reach Ouray well before the normal check-in time, so I called ahead. They checked on our rooms, told us they were ready, and happily let us check in early. We ended up with two rooms side by side on the second floor overlooking the river—perfect for our family.

The rooms aren't trying to be ultra-luxury, but they are spacious, extremely comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully appointed. Our rooms each had two king-size beds, which is a huge improvement over the doubles or queens you often find in similar properties. Just as importantly, they clearly did not skimp on the beds: the mattresses, sheets, linens, and pillows were all excellent. When you're spending eight hours of your day sleeping somewhere away from home, that matters.

The riverfront setting was wonderful. We were able to listen to the river running below our rooms throughout the night, which was one of those simple things that made the stay memorable.

The staff continued to be warm, friendly, and helpful throughout our visit. After checking in, we mentioned that we were heading to the Ouray Hot Springs. They immediately offered us larger pool towels to take with us so we wouldn't need to rent or buy towels there. It was a small gesture, but exactly the kind of thoughtful hospitality that characterized the entire stay.

Breakfast the next morning was a simple continental breakfast in the main lobby, but it was more than adequate and a nice addition. Parking was also easy and convenient, and the property's motel-style layout makes coming and going particularly simple without dealing with large hotel lobbies, elevators, or distant parking.

The rate was fair for Ouray during a busy summer period, and we felt we received very good value for what we paid.

Most of all, this property understands hospitality. Everyone we encountered was welcoming, pleasant, accommodating, and genuinely seemed interested in making our stay enjoyable. Ouray itself was one of the highlights of our road trip, and the Hot Springs Inn was a perfect fit for our visit.

I would recommend the Hot Springs Inn without reservation to couples, families, or anyone visiting Ouray. We would absolutely stay here again.

Our stay at Hot Springs Inn in Ouray was magical!!! Beginning with the welcoming staff behind the front desk to the comfy bed, electric fireplace in the room and amazing river view outside our balcony every was exactly what we were looking for! Nestled in the heart of the mountains, this hotel gave us the Colorado mountain experience we’ll always treasure! Highly recommend Hot Springs Inn!!!

Absolutely spotless room. Wonderful location, rooms and staff. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Ouray.

We ABSOLUTELY LOVED the view from our room/porch!!!! Sitting outside and listening to the river was sooooooooooo peaceful. We hated to leave. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet 🤫 We recommend taking the Alpine Jeep tour and eating at Kami's Samis. They were fantastic!

I can't imagine a better place to stay in Ouray. I'm not sure why it's name is the Hot Springs Inn, when it's greatest draw isn't it's proximity to the public pools but the fact that it's perched along the river. Every room looks out to the back, to the river and mountains behind it. You can easily access the walking path along the river from the property. Just fantastic. For renovated motel rooms, the rooms are fine, they are generously sized, comfortable and in decent shape. The whole inn is kept very clean. Don't stay here for refinement or luxury, but stay here to be someplace really cool.

The staff was incredibly nice, they were so kind to my daughter and even gave her coloring pages and board games to take to our room. The beds were large and comfortable. Coffee and breakfast available each morning in the office was nice! The creek behind our room was great to see and hear during morning and evening sits on the porch.

The room was very spacious and very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The view of the river from the back balcony was lovely. The front desk staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. We had an excellent stay!

The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and comfortable. We really enjoyed being right on the creek and being able to walk to the hot springs and restaurants. I have only one suggestion and that is to change the direction of the way the hot tub cover opens so that it doesn't block the view of the river.

This was my favorite hotel from our family road trip. We had a two king bedroom and it had plenty of room. The view from the back balcony was great. The room was clean. The ceiling fan and AC were amazing. I had the best sleep of the entire trip at this hotel.

The room was spacious with a king bed for us and a king bed for our luggage. I loved having the balcony, although it got afternoon sun and needed some sort of sun shade.

My husband and I stayed here while we hiked around the area. It was convenient to most of the hikes we wanted to do. The room was large. Since there were two king beds, we had one for us and one for our luggage, which was very convenient. The balcony was nice. The staff was great. We could hear the people in the room next to us, but they weren't trying to be quiet at all. Most of the time, the air conditioner blocked out the sound. I would definitely stay here again.

Looked at several places twice as expensive and was beyond impressed with this place. Very nice - felt very clean whereas other places looked dated. The view outside from balcony was INCREDIBLE. Huge window to let in sounds of river right outside. Others staying at Beaumont were jealous of our accommodations. 10/10.
