Pros:

The hotel's location. The breakfast was amazing and its setting in the courtyard.

Cons:

Our fridge did not work. We asked several times for it to be replaced as we had medication that needed to be refridgerated. It was eventually replaced days later.

We arrived to a wonderful reception, complete with cooling towels in a heatwave. The hotel was fantastic. We were a family of 5. Well accommodated. AC could have been a little stronger but that is the only comment for those looking for AC. Breakfast was fantastic. Kids loved the staff - everyone was so friendly. Close to Santa Maria Novella. Easy to walk everywhere.

Pros:

A wonderful location near the central train station and Florence’s historic center. It’s convenient both for traveling around Tuscany by train and for quick access to all of the city’s main attractions. The staff is very friendly; they deserve great praise for their hard work and their attitude toward guests. Plus, a really good breakfast in a cozy Italian courtyard.

Cons:

I stayed in a standard room with a large double bed, and it really was very cramped. If you like it really cold in your room, an air conditioner won't give you that.

The location and the beauty and history of this hotel was phenomenal. The only thing I would say that was not great was the fact that the air did not stay cool and the refrigerator and tiny in the room did not seem to stay cool as well and I needed it for my medication. They were wonderful enough to put my medication in there hotel refrigerator until I left. The staff was fantastic.

Cons:

Again, the Erin, the room did not stay cool and the refrigerator in the room did not really work. It was super tiny.
