Location
They required a $100 security deposit. A $20 fee for parking and a missing knob for the shower to turn on and off. I didn't see it till I woke up that morning.
Great price and location, comfortable and clean accommodations. No noise issues. The building does rumble slightly when the lightrail nearby passes, but I personally found it a nice noise, not obtrusive / didn't keep me awake. I did not get her name but the woman who worked the front desk was very nice and helpful.
The elevator was out of order, which was difficult for us as both me and my partner have physical disabilities. Also our room keys frequently stopped working, but the employees fixed them each time very quickly.
Nothing except check in guy who was clearly overwhelmed and honest about not getting refund .
No elevator working — for over 3 weeks 4 stafff I asked told me, no ice machine, tv didn’t work , and the door to stairs to get to rooms - outside close to street and the camped out homeless who actively doing drugs — pot, fentanyl, meth and crack … I asked them as I wanted them to make sure I was gonna be safe overnight . I brought them food and dry emergency blanket and sundries I bought when I realized the dump I was staying at—-left open 24/7 which was not visible by anyone in hotel only the 4 dudes camping out on street while 2 girls with them were inside working . So every floor and the street entrance propped fully open as elevator busted.
No safety chain or extra lock in room I propped chairs there . Room next door — door to room in mine lock not working and fridge was placed in front.
How close it was to everything.
That the elevator was out of order
Location to the MODA center. Kind staff. Offered free parking pass due to elevators being down.
Elevator was broke down and we had not been notified ahead. Carpets in room were very stained. Lamp shade was stained with a red substance that looked like juice. Back of curtain was stained with a different red. Toilet did not flush well. Bathtub paint was peeling badly. Sink took hours to fully drain. Outside of facility was messy with garbage all around. Cannot open window for fresh air. Ice machine closest to our room was out of order.
Location to venue
Helpful staff
Shower tub did not drain.
It was very close to Moda Center, that's the only thing that it has going for it.
The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable, the floors were stained but it was mostly clean, the room was over train tracks so you heard the train rattling by your window into the night, and the bathtub had an ever-present leaky faucet and I kept worrying whether the toilet would flush. They also charged a $100 deposit and had very limited parking. I would never stay here again for over $100 a night
Proximity to the Moda Center
Elevators don’t work. Cable didn’t work. Carpet looks disgusting. Smoke detector faulty
Nothing
Elevator broken, extra charge for parking. Ice machine broken. Old and not updated
Nothing
Elevators broken, ice machine broken. Drug dealing around.
It was within walking distance of the Moda Center.
The elevator was out of order and we were only made aware of this after we had paid we were given no additional discount for the inconvenience nor offered any help with our luggage. We were told to use the stairs, which are not wide enough for multiple people so meeting people on the stairs was awkward with luggage. The whole hotel from the elevator to the bathroom to the carpet needs to be updated. The worst was the bed which in the luxury suite was so wore out that the foot of the bed sagged horribly. I had the worst time trying to sleep due to the worn out mattress.
Proximity to convention center
Homeless and addicts surrounding area and I felt unsafe walking directly back to the hotel. I wished they had a policy of no loitering for the homeless in the private parking lot.
I liked being on the opposite side of the hotel from the noisy, dirty light rail.
The silverfish were few, the elevator didn't work (and hadn't for weeks) and we were expected to walk up 5 stories to our room. Kindly, we asked for and received a 2nd floor room. The ice machine was broken, but our aim was to get as close to the convention center for the least amount of cost, and ice was plentiful elsewhere.
