Paradisus by Meliá Cancún -All Inclusive

This hotel was perfect for a family vacation (and wedding). Our room was great and very clean. The spa was wonderful and the treatments were fabulous. The staff members were so lovely and accommodating. A few special staff members were Alejander at the Nespresso Cafe, Ava by the pool, and Adan the Concierge. The quality of the food could be improved, but overall it was a great visit to Cancun.

Lovely hotel, all the staff so friendly. Would definitely stay here again in the future. Only thing that lets it down was how many things was only for the reserve customers only. No drink menus, so was unsure on what drinks they actually done. But the overall service was outstanding.

This is our first stay at Paradisus Cancun but have also stayed at the Paradisus Punta Cana.

You are greeted at the front door with a cool towel and cold fruit drink. Staff is incredibly helpful as they help with bags and checkin process.

Bracelets are your room key and gate to the resort.

The food was amazing. Restaurants require reservations that you can make downstairs by the buffet. Sometimes we could make them for future days and sometimes not. Not sure what the actual rules were.

Buffet is really good.

Beds were comfortable. AC in the room went down to 68 at the lowest.

Open common areas are not climate controlled. So in the afternoons it is quite hot and humid in there-especially the elevators. Most restaurants are climate controlled.

Public restrooms have washcloths to dry hands

AquaWorld is literally across the street. The front door men will drive you down to the gate in a golf cart.

We had no issues with mosquitos

Each evening there is some kind of show. Sometimes out by the pool. Lighting wasn’t great but it’s entertainment. Also most afternoons some kind of inflatable or activity by the pool.

Would definitely stay again.

Had an amazing time thanks to Carolina and Erick, our concierge! They made my friend and I stay very easy and pleasurable. I was literally able to turn my brain off thanks to them.
The hotel architecture is beautiful. You really feel like you’re in your own world. My only criticism is when I ordered nachos through room service it was terrible. Chips tasted stale and the food cold.

This is my third time coming to Paradisus Cancun. It’s by far the best all-inclusive resort I’ve ever been to. I always book their Reserve Adults Only section, it’s very much worth it.

My butler, Omar Robledo, is among the main reasons I give this resort the highest of ratings. When I return, and I will very soon, I’ll make sure it’s Omar I get as my butler or I’ll walk away lol.
He was very attentive, always making sure I’m getting the best of what the resort has to offer. Without him I would’ve missed out on plenty of goodies. Thank you Omar!!

A shout out also to other awesome staff members like Ivan and Horacio in the Reserve section that made sure I was well taken care of, along with all the beautiful smiling faces of all Paradisus staff always greeting you as you walk by.
An unparalleled experience is what you’ll get in Paradisus.

Flor y Andrés from Ginger Bar were great. They were very attentive and were always willing to serve us.

It was a great experience going to Cancun we’ll definitely stay there again and recommend it to everyone.

Overall the resort has changed. We have been to Paradisus 4 times and this time the overall quality was just average. The food quality and variety was not good. It was the same food every day, salty and bland. We love the staff, but overall we are not happy with the hotel and will not be back.

Outside the hotel we also noticed the people were not as warm, inviting or friendly. It’s not the Cancún we remember and love.

Alberto is the best! He checked us in and it was such a smooth process. Even upgraded our room to a higher floor so we can have a better view! 10/10

We interacted with many staff members during our stays here and we’d like to shine light on Juan Carlos and Alondra. They were fantastic and made our weeklong honeymoon memorable.

My wife and I love Paradisus Cancun and this was our 1st time staying in The Reserve Adult Only section and it was outstanding. The staff are professional and attentive to all guest needs and wants. Our Concierge Estephany was great ensuring all of our wants and needs were taken care of.

Had a great time back, since their closure last year due to renovations. Some changes were noticed like their lobby area, rooms appear smaller than before with some changes, the AC needs improvement, 68f was the coolest. Snacks/food area in the reserve area/adults only area was better before with more options. No changes were noted in the adults only area, before closing we were told an infinity pool was in the works for this area, disappointed not see this be. With it just being reopened, staffing is short, we had to wait awhile for most restaurants for food to be delivered, the cabana beds also took awhile, only 1 person, taking care of guests, where as before there was always 2 people working that reserve area. Over all had a pleasant time, Estephany our personal concierge was great! She made sure we had everything we needed and more. She went above and beyond helping us to celebrate an anniversary and birthday. We had nice dessert surprises at dinner and back in our room with special wine, champagne and room decorations! Thank you Estephany for making our stay special, we appreciate you! Look forward to coming back.

Just leaving after an amazing week hotel has been renovated and is immaculate staff very attentive Ana who was a server around the main pool is an absolute credit she never stopped and welcome everyone every day we used Gastro hall for meals plenty of choice and beautifully cooked in many visits to Mexico this has been the best Thankyou Melia

Great service and beautiful resort, I highly recommend it. At the Gastro Hall buffet, great atmosphere snd superb service from Candelario, Seferino, Reynaldo, Armando, and Diego! Thank you guys for making my family feel like kings and queens.

The poolside bingo was great, I won a prize. It was a lot of fun and Uriel and Mauricio were great hosts.

I’ve been visiting this resort for over 10 years and have brought family, friends, etc. The Reserve has been a mainstay for me, a place of peace and relaxation. My post-renovation visit, however, was disappointing. The caliber of service seems much lower and less personalized. The special Paradisus luxuries like cookies at night, having your bathwater run, or having someone unpack your luggage were not even offered. The renovations have made the rooms feel much smaller and would benefit from better planning. The 60 inch TV screen that never even came on completely blocked half the gorgeous view in the ocean view junior suite. Although this was once a customized experience, I found it difficult to acquire fresh hot food from room service, or even fruit, juice, etc., in the mini bar, which was consistently stocked with sodas and beer. I drink neither.

This visit was twofold: time to celebrate my birthday and intended to provide a thorough review for my corporate Clients, but it seems this spectacular destination is still transitioning after being closed for 10 months. The classic birthday balloons and bottle of champagne is still a nice touch, but the Melia service I’ve appreciated for years was gone.
