There were two things that concerned us during our stay.

First, the rear entrance of the hotel seemed to be left unlocked all the time, and the elevator did not require a room key or any other security access. This meant that anyone entering the building could potentially access the guest floors. We did not personally experience any problems because of this, but it felt unusual from a security perspective.

The second issue was related to payment. We paid the full cost of our 14-night stay upon arrival, splitting the amount between two different cards. However, after about one week, due to what the hotel described as a “system error,” additional amounts started being charged to the first card. The charges stopped after we reported the problem, but it took approximately four weeks for the additional amounts to finally be released/reversed.

Based on this experience, I would recommend being careful about which card you use for payment and monitoring it during your stay. Our card details were apparently retained in order to process charges later, which may be a common practice in the US, but it was quite unfamiliar and uncomfortable for us, especially after the payment system error.

Apart from these issues, we had no other negative experiences during our two-week stay. The room was comfortable and clean, the staff were helpful, and the nearby shuttle made travelling to and from Manhattan very convenient.

Doručak je bio katastrofa, bezukusan, na granici jestivog, kava najgora koju sam probao u životu, lokacija nije bila dobra, slaba povezanost s javnim prijevozom, 10 minuta hodanja pješke do nekog lokalnog prijevoza koji košta 4 dolara po osobi po smjeru, želježnićka pruga u blizini i dosta se čuju vlakovi i teško za spavati, spremačice su ujutro preglasne i probudili nas svako jutro, soba smrdi kao i hodnik, u sobi nema svježeg zraka, a prozor se ne može otvoriti da uđe, ne znam kako to uopće zadovoljava propise neke, katastrofa, jednu noć smo čekali taj njihov prijevoz u noći od 1 do 2 ujutro (rekli su da zadnji vozi u 2) i nije došao niti jedan, morali smo uber uzimat(o njegovoj cijeni bolje ništa ne reći), ostali smo tjedan dana, ali nakon 2 dana htjeli smo promjeniti smještaj, ali nismo uspjeli

- El ruido constante, ya sea del ascensor o del tren que pasa al lado o de los otros clientes
- Precio elevado para lo que es (dentro de que está fuera de Manhattan, elevado precio no corresponde con lo que ofrece)

No muy alejado del autobús (unos 10-15 minutos), aunque lo sabíamos antes de llegar. Un poco incómodo, porque es cuesta arriba, pero es factible.

Staff sometimes doesn't helpful

Room smelled like weed. I tried to move rooms but they were sold out and did not offer any accommodation for the heavy smoke smell. Online is advertised a shuttle to the city, but it turns out the shuttle is a 15 minute walk from the hotel. It was so terrible that I checked out early, and when I did the front desk haggled and insulted me for my early checkout. Just spend the extra money to stay in the city. The price I paid for the hotel is absolutely ridiculous for the condition of the room and property.

The morning male staff was VERY rude and not helpful AT ALL.
