Amazing views. Choice of 4 pools. Staff helpful and friendly. Excellent on-site restaurant
Was originally in a ground floor oceanfront room but the hedge outside was so overgrown you couldn’t see the view! We were moved to a beautiful first floor room on the second day. There is currently construction work on site.
Everything. This is a beautiful resort and the ocean views are exceptional.
Nothing.
Location and the views were amazing! The staff were great always friendly and helpful!
We liked that it was right on the ocean front. They had a private beach. The property was not dated. The staff was friendly and accommodating.
The price per night after all the fees is absolutely ridiculous for this property. This was a very expensive hotel but the property (grounds, amenities, service) did not deserve the price they charged. Our room was fairly small. The bathroom lacked privacy because the wall and door were completely glass. You could lower a shade but, while it looked cool at first, it was a pain to have to raise and lower this shade every time you had to use the bathroom. There was no desk or surface of any type in the room if you wanted to work or write something. The hotel grounds were small and average at best. We arranged for the hotel to pick us up at the airport but they did not follow through with that request. We spoke to other guests and they agreed that the price was very high for what you get and customer service was lacking. The staff, while well meaning just didn't know how to deliver quality customer service...from the front desk to the restaurant staff. Finally, the location is great if you don't want to leave the property but it is on the remote side of the island so you have to pay ridiculous taxi prices to get anywhere. Expect to add an addition $50-$60 to your meals for taxis to and from the restaurant.
In the salt water pool down by the beach, every surface was covered with slimy algae. It was unsafe to walk in it. Why would any hotel allow this to happen? We stayed in the town of Hamilton many times before and the convenience is great there.
The food in the Hotel restaurant
The hotel was extremely peaceful! Rooms were clean and the breakfast was yummy. You get your daily steps in walking around, especially down to the beach and back. The bathrooms are spacious.
Lack of privacy in rooms if you prefer to get dressed and not close blinds. At least on the 3rd floor. The infrastructure in the rooms are a bit off, in terms of TV placement and rug to carpet distance. Nightmare shamelessly opening and closing the closet.
Everything
Nothing
Beautiful. Extremely quiet. Staff was so friendly and accommodating. Steps to beach were easily handled, unless you have a physical problem with stairs. We would stay there again….definitely!!
All very good.
Everything except the rude front desk people-
The rude front desk people
Hooks in bathroom for robes, clothes would help.
Elevators to room levels for luggage and older guests
are needed.
I liked the very premium feel to the hotel, particularly that even though fully booked, it didnt seem crowded at all.
I had lots of space and facilities across the hotel to enjoy a relaxing stay.
I thought for the price, that tea's and coffee's should be complimentary. I also think that while the food was good, the menu was very small. I'd expect more choice in a hotel at this level.
I also had intermittent WiFi towards the far end of the sunlounger area. Not great I'd have thought 100mb wifi would be standard.
The view is unbeatable, the beach has crystal clear blue water. Many pool options, the restaurant is great, the food and cocktails are delicious, the staff is nice.
Stunning views!
Ok room. Not the best view from our room, next to reception. Not pictured.
