Why is it pet friendly now???🤨😩😤
Pros:

I am writing to tell you that I loved my two stays at your hotel. I was planning to return to Sedona and stay there but unfortunately I see now that you made the hotel it pet friendly.😩
I will never stay in a hotel where dogs are allowed to sleep in the same room and on the same bed where I will be sleeping.

Stay wise good

Some staff is so friendly and they provided all the details.

Cons:

During the checking they wanted me to pay for the Parking. We are paying for room almost 300 per night.
This is not downtown. They should not charge for the parking. Parking should include in the hotel Rate.

All good vibes
Pros:

I enjoyed every minute of my stay here. The room had a beautiful view of the mountains, and the location was really close to a lot of places to eat. Richard was extremely warm and friendly, and after telling us about the upgrades to the hotel, got us set up at the fire pit with our drinks. They have a live band in the lounge and the music was great. I definitely look forward to my next stay here!

Outrageous daily fees! Avoid this hotel!
Pros:

Hidden/outrageous fees as soon as you arrive - very disappointed. This is my second stay at this hotel, eight years apart. I booked through my credit card company and the additional fees per night were disclosed as: Property fee $5.47, Resort fee $43.94 - I accepted those and prepaid my visit. When I arrived I was charged the following: Destination fee $20.00, and Self-parking fee $36.00! This property has its own private parking lot - it is absolutely absurd to charge people that amount PER NIGHT simply to park in the designated lot for their room. In addition, when checking in the front desk told me the $20.00 fee could be offset by $10 because you get a credit from either the snack section or bar - just give your room number when you purchase. What they don't tell you is that they don't deduct that $10 from the $20 fee, they add the purchase on to your room AND THEN CREDIT the new $10 charge - so you still pay the $20 fee per night - and for what?!? I will not stay here again. The daily fees for a mediocre hotel were $105.41 (not including tax) in addition to the room rate. Absolutely disgusting.

Better than expected!
Pros:

As a Marriott Titanium member, I've stayed at a lot of Marriott hotels over the years, and honestly, I don't get the average rating for this place. I thought it was a great stay. Amazing views, nice amenities, and overall a really good experience. Special shoutout to Michael at the front desk, he was fantastic!

Wonderful Sedona Gem
Pros:

Wonderful stay in Sedona. Highly recommend. Great view. Great bar. Very helpful staff. This is a hotel I will return to and will al seats recommend to others visiting Sedona. 10/10

The views were absolutely amazing and as shown, I’m sure some lower or ground floor rooms may have lesser views but the communal terraces are all amazing.

Cons:

You have to pay $40 to park which seems outrageous given the large size of their lot and location. The parking payment information also is not very clear or made explicit when booking.

They advertised the kitchen as opened until 9pm but upon seating at 645p we were told that it closed at 7 and we were rushed to order. Menus online was also different than menus offered.

A truly special experience
Pros:

This is a lovely hotel! There are amazing views of the red rocks on the east facing or “sunrise” rooms and stunning views of mountains and the sunset on the west facing or “sunset” rooms.
The moon rising ceremony was very special, and I enjoyed the morning meditation to start my day.
The terraces are community style with ample and comfortable furnishings and of course, the views!
Head over to the heart-rocks for the sunrise!
