The staff were extremely kind, helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.
The hotel rooms could stand to be deep cleaned and updated. There corner next to the bathtub was extremely dirty, there was a stain in the closet from a leak and there was paint pealing on the bathroom ceiling. Valet took an extreme amount of time for drop off and pick up. One day it took over 30 min to get our car.

This stay was for business. Convenient for the convention center. The hotel needs a face-lift. Rooms were tired and the food was mediocre but the staff was great. Wouldn't choose it for leisure.
The best thing about this hotel is the proximity to the convention center. They need to do a complete renovation and refresh the place. Hotel gym is actually pretty expansive. Front desk staff is friendly. AC units are really loud in the rooms.

The staff was highly rude and when I asked for the possibility of a late checkout I was immediately told no and that the people coming in tonight were a higher commitment. I asked for a reason and the same response given again like I didnt understand her the first time. Just very cold and unfriendly. My $750 for two nights no longer mattered because more $$$ was walking in through the doors later. The store downstairs closes far too early and I was not able to grab some water for my room. The service at the bar was slow. Overall the staff made the hotel experience horrible. I was shocked that not an extra hour could be allowed and the attitude that followed throughout the whole conversation.
As Bonvoy members, we can speak with authority that this property is the worse Marriott we visited. I’ll begin with saying the staff are exemplary but it stops there. This property is so incredibly run down. The carpet throughout was disgusting. I could barely see through the windows of our room because they had filthy. If a Marriott executive visited this location, they would be appalled. Lastly, we did not dare go out at night. There’s an abandoned theater across from the hotel and the front looked like a crime scene (i.e. blood splatter all over the sidewalk and the front of the building). It was evident that it was fresh. This is not about the employees but it’s a disgrace that Marriott would allow one of their properties to be in such disarray.
