The lady at reception during check-in was super friendly and welcoming, even at the end of her long shift. Also, complimentary breakfast was decent and there was free parking on site, so it met our needs.
Perfectly fine for one night, but in my opinion the photos looked better than reality. Our room had seen better days.
Location is good to visit Monticello. That's about it.
Oh boy, I knew not to expect luxury, this is a budget hotel after all. But as soon as I jumped into my room I realized: this is a bad budget hotel. Rooms are in dire need of major maintenance: mysterious stains on walls, one of our bed sheets had blood stains and there's a lingering musty smell in the rooms. Trust me, the savings are NOT worth it.
The staff was courteous, the breakfast was good.
The carpet was worn out. Water stations had no water after repeated informing them.

The pictures online are very deceiving and the rooms aren’t even comparable to the pictures they have posted. The carpet as soon as you step off the elevator were filthy and the wallpaper or paint was peeling off the walls. We walked into our room and it didn’t get any better and the room had a weird smell. The air conditioner was super loud. The bathroom was outdated, moldy, and filthy. I felt like I was crawling and I was only in the room for 5 min. We ended up walking out and deciding to ask for a refund.
