Pros:

The location was great.

Cons:

The fridge was not cold. When we asked about it, they said they just don’t work well. We had to use our cooler with ice to keep things cold. The WiFi was very slow.

Relaxing and peaceful.
Pros:

It was right across from Stearns Wharf so we could see the water and all the activity with joggers and people walking.

Cons:

It was exactly what we were looking for. It was our 50th anniversary so a nice treat!

Pros:

We had a genuinely enjoyable 3-night stay. The room was comfortable, the location was great, and we had no complaints during our time there.

Cons:

My husband woke up the morning after checkout covered in bites consistent with bed bugs. We understand that bed bugs can happen at any hotel and we weren't looking to make a big deal of it. We simply wanted to report it and reach a fair resolution. What disappointed us was how management handled it. Our concern was met with a quick dismissal. They said they investigated and found nothing, and offered no meaningful acknowledgment of our experience. We have had no bites since returning home, and the timing aligns directly with our stay.

Pros:

This place is truly amazing. While I'm familiar with Santa Barbara through family visits, this was my first time at the Harbor View Inn. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond. I was greeted by Jesus, the bellman, who was incredibly kind, assisting with my luggage and answering my questions with a warm smile. Next, I met Daisy at the front desk, and she was outstanding! She was so friendly, personable, and knowledgeable about the inn, happily showing me around and making me feel welcome. Then I met Cameron, who was also amazing. Such a friendly group of people! We spent the next few days figuring out how we could stay at the inn permanently because we liked it so much. I honestly didn't want to leave. Thank you guys so much for making my weekend and inspiring me to come back ASAP!
