Location
The indoor pool was a joke. Room and hotel were not up to Omni standards
The view, rooms were nice and comfortable.
That it was around so much fun things to do
Theft
My truck was damaged by VALET insurance responded fairly quick.. however the insurance has not paid the collision repair place and therefore they will not release my truck to me.. it has been ready for 6 business days that i cannot get my truck.. cannot get in touch with anyone at insurance or hotel.
Nice location with a good view.
We were located, room 836, next to 3 lifts and an air conditioning motor that were noisy all night long
Had a terrible experience with staff. I reported dogs barking in the room next door and the staff did nothing about it. It when on our entire stay and they would not switch our rooms.
The Omni is the hotel I always book with when I visit Corpus Christi. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is well maintained and in a great location near the beach which makes it easy to enjoy other points of interest that are near by. The room is nicely decorated, with a Keurig coffee maker along with an assortment of coffee, sugars, creamers, teas etc. The Bar and Grill located on the 20th floor is fabulous and not way over priced like I’ve seen at some hotels.
The location is excellent, with easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and other amenities. Great view from the balcony!
The connected parking was very convenient, and the front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Check-in was quick and easy, which made for a great first impression.
I also appreciated having dining options and additional amenities available within the hotel itself.
The hotel is an older property and you can tell it has some age. The carpet in the room felt dirty, not because of housekeeping, but rather because the room was older.
Another concern was the condition of the hairdryer in the room. The air intake vent on the back of the hairdryer was heavily clogged with dust and lint. Not only is this a potential fire hazard, but it also reflects a lack of attention to routine maintenance and cleanliness. Hairdryers are inexpensive items that are used frequently by guests, so they should be inspected, cleaned, and replaced as needed. Small details like this can significantly impact a guest’s perception of the property’s overall cleanliness and upkeep.
The hot tub was also disappointing. There was a noticeable buildup of grime along the inside surface of the tub, and while I was using it, I pulled out 3 band aids floating in the water while I was in there. The first time it happened was when I got my hands out of the water and the bandaid was on my palm. It felt pretty gross. The water appeared slightly yellow, and a significant amount of dirty looking foam accumulated on the surface. Overall, the hot tub did not appear to be cleaned or maintained frequently enough.
I would recommend more frequent water changes and a thorough cleaning and scrubbing of the hot tub to improve the guest experience.
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was also in a great location.
The hotel is outdated. The pool tiles were loose. The room furniture was outdated, scratched, and the chair in our room had a hole in it. The room wasn’t dirty, but I did have to wipe down the desk and bathroom counter.
I stayed there for 4 nights from 16-20 May for the Powerlifting America Age Nationals. The staff at the hotel was great. The food was great at the restaurants in the hotel. The room was very nice
