Lovely property in a good location

Cons:

The staff was friendly with the exception of one female member of staff who antagonised us with her rude behaviour in the tea room.

Lovely surroundings, nice room if a little dated. Very comfortable and an excellent breakfast.
Pros:

Beautiful surroundings and very easy to find. The full English breakfast was excellent.

Cons:

Poorly sign posted reception. I walked past the front door as there was very little signage. Decor a little dated.

Beautiful place and grounds with exceptional staff
Pros:

The staff were all exceptional. Particularly Ben, who served us in the bar when we got back on Saturday night. What a lovely, friendly gentleman. Exceptional service. All breakfast staff and reception staff were also really friendly and helpful.

Cons:

We didn't have a proper shower. If we had been given an option I would have booked a room with an actual shower. But we didn't know until we turned up. It was a shower over the bath and it wasn't fully tiled so not really very usable.

Stay was really Pleasant - staff were really nice
Pros:

Breakfast excellent so nice and well cooked in a lovely dining room the location was lovely

Cons:

Bed was a bit too firm for me but that’s just personal preference, the room was generally clean but needed some much needed dusting and general updating eg painting etc.
