It was a bit crowded at breakfast
The hotel is a good location for what I need.
Bathroom was a bit tired and needed a better clean.
This hotel is in a great location. Lovely welcome and friendly staff. The bathroom could see a little updating, but totally usable and clean. The shower gels, soaps and tea/coffee facilities were well stocked. Quiet room and excellent breakfast.

Windows are a little thin so the street noise outside can wake lighter sleepers but it's a hotel in a city so you have to expect that a little.

It's in good walking distance for venue we were attending
The noise outside the hotel between midnight and 4am was very disruptive. People were shouting and screaming, which kept us awake for much of the night, and the windows did not provide much soundproofing.
This was not the hotel’s fault, as the noise came from outside, but I would strongly recommend requesting a room at the back of the hotel, away from the main road, if possible. The hotel is situated opposite the bakery that is open late and is also close to a nightclub. There is a taxi rank nearby, meaning there is a constant flow of people coming and going, particularly during the early hours of the morning.
Overall, if you are a light sleeper, it is definitely worth asking for a quieter room away from the front of the hotel. we will be back but ask for a better situated room.
