Pros:

We loved the breakfast, the personnel of the entire hotel, the public areas, the bar and the location was perfect. The Antiquities market set up Saturday morning I did hear but thought it was a thunder storm - otherwise very quiet and we always bring sound machines for better sleeping so no problem . Nice robes in the rooms but little hard for us to move around comfortably with our luggage. Next time I will check the square footage, I had assumed the Adagio room would be more spacious.

Cons:

We would have enjoyed water provided daily for us at no charge.

Luxury stay
Pros:

The reception staff were exceptional, the rooms spotlessly clean and the hotel was so beautiful. Breakfast was wonderful with lots to choose from. Location was perfect.

Perfect location with impeccable service. Best in Lucca.
Pros:

The breakfast buffet was very well prepared. While we don't eat meat from mammals, they offered sliced turkey among their options. Very welcome. Other welcome additions were the fried potatoes and the sun-dried tomatoes. Many fresh pastries, yogurts, cereals, etc. Very satisfying.

Cons:

Can't think of a single thing that I would have improved on.
