There was a lot of light leakage around the curtains. So the room was not particularly dark with the lights out.

Clean room.

Cons:

TINY bathroom. Air conditioner didn't work properly. Bathroom barn door didn't close properly. No place to put luggage. It was a room for 3 and should really be only 1 person room because of the size.

It's a good place to stay for a couple of days while you're in Melbourne.
Pros:

My room was fairly comfortable.

Cons:

The refrigerator froze my yogurt and milk on the first night.

The beds were like sleeping on cardboard, the bathroom was ridiculously small, barely fit into the shower opening and shower heads were awful. No space to put the kettle to make a coffee so it had to sit on the floor

Good value, friendly staff, clean, but cramped bathroom.
Pros:

Room was clean and had a good basic setup. We were able to leave our luggage before check-in, where staff were very helpful and even put our bags in the room while we were out for the day. Check-in and checkout process was very easy.
Good having a cafe/bar downstairs and the lobby was easy access for food delivery drivers. Good location to trams and southern cross station. Soap, shampoo, tea, coffee and milk were provided.

Cons:

The bathroom is an issue. It is incredibly small and cramped. The bathroom door is somewhat transparent, so you can see others in there; their silhouette is very clear. There also isn’t a fan, so the room gets fogged up and others can hear everything going on inside. Would benefit from some fixes to create some privacy and space in there that would be beneficial in the long-term. No conditioner.
