The location and venue were top class. The facilities excellent.
Very friendly and informative staff, who couldn’t do enough to assist us.
Lovely rooms with very comfortable beds and luxurious clean fluffy towels most appreciated. Beautiful outlook into the gorgeous, well maintained gardens.
Restaurant and food very good. Delicious food and most attentive staff. Great breakfast buffet and we particularly loved the light, fresh croissants!
Pools are fantastic. So many to choose from including spas, warm thermal pool and lovely outdoor pool in gardens. Also enjoyed the sauna and indoor warm thermal pool. All clean and well looked after.

Cons:

Couldn’t complain about anything.
It would be helpful to have a transport vehicle to collect patrons arriving by train in Montecatini. We spent 3 hours waiting for a taxi

Comfortable room, friendly staff but a bit too ‘corporate’ rather than authentic Italian.
Pros:

Reception staff were super-friendly & went over & above for us.
The room & bed really comfortable.
Thermal pool is huge, very warm with fabulous jacuzzi areas.
Hotel well signed from village.

Cons:

Hadn’t realised that it is a Marriott hotel, very American in feel rather than Italian.
Surprised that guests were to pay €50 to go into the cave - this was not publicised either.

Gorgeous characteristic hotel
Pros:

Beautiful hotel! Staff were so attentive and made sure we were more than comfortable. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Antonio went above and beyond to give extra information about the local area which was really helpful when we went exploring Lucca and Pisa.
