Very pleasant, comfortable. Value for money
Pros:

The bed and bedding were very comfortable, good room size. Service staff were helpful in helping us with meituan for food orders and provided us a room before 3pm when we arrived early

Cons:

The bathroom only has glass doors so it’s not very soundproof. The walls are a bit thin and the bathtub shows some wear and tear. We mostly walked from the hotel to the French concession area and took a taxi elsewhere. Perhaps it’s not so convenient if you were to mainly take the metro

The location and grounds alone make this place very special but it's getting old.
Pros:

Property grounds were stunning- the gardens and landscaping were a beautiful sight to take in every morning. The rooms were large and amenities quite modern. Staff did their best to assist wherever possible.

Cons:

The ID was a little outdated and ostentatious. While the rooms were large the seating was limited. The smart WC inthe bathroom failed and that was unpleasant for a few hours till they fixed it. The aircon mysteriously turned off on our second night and a good rest was spoiled. The hotel did not do anything to compensate us for the inconvenience- no effort whatsoever despite complaints to the front desk- they should have done better,

Luxury in the Green heart of the city
Pros:

Luxury experience in a green compound in the heart of the city. Great gym, pool and spa facilities, mind boggling breakfast. Rooms feel large, have free-standing bathtubs and offer views of the park and city. About 1km walk to the metro, but it's a fine walk along a large road and park near the university so even that walk feels like a nice experience.
