Pros:

The hotel has a great location and friendly staff, but unfortunately, my stay was a bit disappointing due to the thin walls—it was quite noisy at night. The room was also a bit smaller than expected. However, the cleanliness was decent. Hope they can improve the soundproofing for a better experience.

Ensiluokkainen hotelli ihanan puiston ympäröimänä. Ulkoterassi. Upeat sängyt. Mahtava palvelu.
Pros:

Hotelli on ensiluokkainen ja sitä ympäröi ihana puisto. Huoneet ovat tilavat, siistit ja sängyt aivan superhyvät. Lähistöllä on erilaisia ravintoloita ja hotellin edustalla on pieni ulkoterassi. Tällä alueella on kauniita katuja ja rakennuksia vanhalta siirtomaa-ajalta. Jing'an temppelille kävelee puolessa tunnissa Huashan Roadia pitkin. Vaahterat kurottuvat teiden yli kauniina ja viilentävänä viherkattona. Palvelu tässä hotellissa on ensiluokkaista. Kuntosali ja hyvänkokoinen uima-allas tekevät kuntoilun tosi käteväksi. Uima-altaan yhteydessä on pieni oikea sauna kiukaineen. Siihen voi siis ihan heittää vettä ja se tuo hauskan tuulahduksen Suomesta. Välillä voi vaihtaa höyrysaunaan. Ota uimapuku mukaan! Hotelli on useamman kilometrin kilometrin päässä Kansanaukiolta, mutta taksilla sinne hurauttaa 25 minuutissa. Metroasemia löytyy myös 10 min. kävelymatkan päästä. Itse hurautin taksilla toiseen suuntaan ja tulin takaisin kävellen. Tämän hotellin vahvuus on ihana puisto ja mahdollisuus rauhoittua tohinan keskellä, hyvät sängyt, erinomainen palvelu ja amme huoneessa. Hotellissa on hää- ja juhlahotellin estetiikkaa ja juhlavuutta. Korkeassa tuloaulassa soi lltaisin klassinen musiikki livenä. Nautin tästä hotellista ihan suunnattomasti ja olen jo palannut tänne uudelleen!

This is my favorite hotel in Shanghai!!! Beautiful garden and views from the hotel. Good quality, comfort and cleanliness.

Cons:

The transparent door but this time they upgrade me to a less transparent door. Thank you so so much.
Another thing is becoming more commercial and business like now which i dont like.
It used to be a very luxury but cozy and warm hotel

Great stay, great location, good breakfast
Pros:

The location is very close, close to the French Concession, which is one of the most charming areas of Shanghai. The fact that the hotel is inside a garden makes it particularly charming. Rooms are very spacious and the bed is very confortable. The views are nice.

Cons:

The room is equipped for old people, there are railings around all the bathroom sink, bathtub, etc, which gives it a bit of a retirement home vibe. The decor is a bit old-school and it could be a lot more fancy for where it is.

Nice location and rooms but I would skip breakfast
Pros:

Nice location and comfortable rooms. Very nice bedding. There was a lot cigarette smoke in the room but i complained and got an upgrade to a nice suite also got an air purifier so it was fine afterwards. The breakfast is terrible. So dirty and messy, not friendly stuff. I felt i was at a school canteen rather than a five star hotel. So disappointing. Also the breakfast is supposed to ne till 10 30 on weekends but by 9 50 lots of missing items. The worst it is just so dirty that I didnt even want to eat certain things as the serving forks were so dirty and sometimes missing or laying inside the food platters . I think the breakfast is extremely poorly managed. Sad.

Breakfast. Elevators . Some cigarette smoke present.

Pros:

Excellent breakfast! Very nice hotel with great welcome: violins playing in the lobby when you arrive. The swimming pool provided an excellent experience while the bath was an absolute pleasure.

Cons:

The wifi network was difficult to find.
