The location and atmosphere were great. The staff was friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable.
The breakfast could be improved. Instead of serving pre-cut fruit that sits out, consider offering whole fruit or keeping the cut fruit chilled on a bed of ice. It would stay fresher, taste better, and provide a much better breakfast experience.
Glitches with the reservations, impossible to reach anyone on-site, overall appears to be poorly managed and the staff doesn’t care.
Overall, the hotel was poorly maintained. The elevator wobbled whenever it moved, which made both my kids and me feel unsafe.
The water pressure was also very weak, even though we were staying on the third floor.
Breakfast was another major disappointment. It was not served as advertised. The food was not ready, and there were no cups, plates, or utensils available. This was not just an issue for our family—many other guests were also searching for cups and utensils, but we couldn't find any staff to assist us.
The food that was available was of poor quality. The blackberries appeared to be spoiled, and the watermelon also tasted bad.
This was the most expensive hotel we stayed at during our trip, yet it provided the worst experience by far. I am very disappointed with the overall maintenance, service, and quality. Even without considering the high price, I would not recommend staying here.
I’ve stayed at this property every year and always looked forward to it, but it’s declining year over year. The facility needs real investment, and the front-line experience no longer matches the brand.
I arrived late and was given a room with the toilet’s water tank cracked and unusable, and reported it immediately. I followed up again at 6:30am at the front desk to ask to be moved. I wasn’t given a new room until 3pm — over 12 hours later. To her credit, the manager, Marissa, was gracious and credited me a full night, covering both the broken toilet and the fact that I’d called ahead of booking to confirm the hot tub was working and was told yes — when it was actually out of service.
Over my 3-night stay, my room wasn’t cleaned once. When I asked for fresh towels and water, the water was brought in a bag so thin it broke the moment it was handed to me, spilling everywhere on the floor.
Beyond that: the AC is loud and inconsistent, and the shower and water pressure need attention.
Breakfast was the biggest disappointment and my main sanitation concern. The bread was stale and smelled of mold — bad enough that guests would walk up, see and smell it, and turn away without taking anything. There were no tongs, so people had to handle it with their hands. Stock was inconsistent day to day: almond milk and berries available Saturday, gone Sunday; no butter restocked across all three days.
The parking garage itself is poorly lit and genuinely unsafe to walk through at night.
Marissa is doing her best with what she has, but this property needs meaningful upgrades to earn back the loyalty it used to have.
This hotel is worn and tired! As loyal Hyatt member, it seriously made me want to cancel my Hyatt credit card. The air conditioning was SO LOUD in our room that we barely slept at all. It room was dingy and had no appeal. I highly recommend you NOT EVER stay here.
Todo excelente 👌
Nada
Poor upkeep of fitness room even though told the front desk x 2, my room was not serviced, air condition did not work well and was very loud, wifi was very slow.
It was an ok stay. Not used to Hyatt place hotels. Services offered were on a budget level. I’m a Hyatt discoverist but my stay was no different than the experience you would get from a budget hotel. I must say beds and bathrooms might be slightly better than a budget hotel though. Having more welcoming staff might have made a difference.
The top floor smelled of a dead animal. We requested a move to a lower floor. It still faintly smelled of a dead animal. We planned on staying 2 nights but cut it to 1 and went back to Denver and stayed at a MUCH nicer hotel for almost the same points we would have for this property. It’s rundown. It needs a refresh. Staff did refund us the additional night so that was a positive.
I stayed at the Hyatt Place Keystone/Dillon from June 28–July 3, 2026, and was extremely disappointed. The advertised hot breakfast was largely unavailable, with limited, poorly stocked options and no staff oversight. My room lacked basic supplies, had dirty glasses, broken amenities, and no housekeeping service during my entire stay. Calls to housekeeping and the front desk went unanswered; I learned one employee was managing the entire 103-room hotel alone. Most concerning, all exterior doors remained unlocked 24/7, creating serious security concerns. The lack of service, cleanliness, management oversight, and safety was unacceptable for a Hyatt property.
Pet friendly, location, views, breakfast included.
The firepit should be able to use at night. The tank was empty and no extras available. Disappointing. Many people wanted to use.
Bathrooms, shower tiles need updating.
Good location.
The room temperature was 77 degrees, way too hot for sleeping and no windows would open. Front desk brought a little fan that just blew around the hot air. They said we could move to another room one floor down but it was even hotter! The halls were hot, the breakfast area was hot. Beds were soft and caused a back ache. Not ever staying there again.
This was, without question, one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had.
Our experience began with a major mistake by the front desk staff member, Rochelly. She first issued us keys to a room that was already occupied. Imagine opening a hotel room door only to discover someone else was already staying there. We returned to the front desk, where she apologized and gave us keys to a different room. Shockingly, that room was also occupied.
After two serious errors, instead of finding a proper solution or apologizing sincerely, we were informed that the hotel had been overbooked and that we would have to leave. We were effectively asked to check out in the middle of the night, leaving us to find another hotel at a very late hour. This was incredibly stressful, frustrating, and completely unacceptable.
What made the situation even worse was Rochelly’s attitude. Rather than handling the situation with empathy, professionalism, or respect, she was dismissive, aggressive, and unhelpful throughout the interaction. We also felt that we were treated differently than other guests, which made the entire experience even more upsetting.
Mistakes can happen, but how they’re handled defines the quality of customer service. Issuing keys to two occupied rooms is a serious security and privacy failure. Asking paying guests to leave in the middle of the night because of the hotel’s overbooking is unacceptable. Doing so without genuine concern or an effort to make things right is simply poor hospitality.
I sincerely hope hotel management investigates this incident, reviews its overbooking procedures, and provides better training to its front desk staff. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend staying at this hotel.
This property is below the usual Hyatt standards in my opinion. Yes it is right there by the slopes but I would prefer a cleaner environment with brighter lighting and don't bother with the breakfast it's nasty
