Staff was not honest about the availability of amenities. The Valet took an hour to retrieve luggage and deliver to room. Broken lamps. Needs renovation.

nothing to celebrate
Pros:

The bed was comfortable

Cons:

The walls are thin and I could hear the conversation from the other rooms and all the noise from outside. Hard to sleep with all the noise

Painfully slow during breakfast

The wait and uncertainty of service during peak time is too much poor service
The experience of breakfast makes the start difficult

Pros and Cons
Pros:

The Hotel Magnolia is a beautiful property with comfortable beds, and the breakfast was delicious, but we ultimately think there are better options in downtown Houston.
The location is excellent, especially if you’re going to a baseball game, but there were a few issues that impacted our stay. Our room was not ready at the 4:00 PM check-in time, and the lobby was crowded with guests still waiting at 4:30 when we were able to get our room.
Additionally, only two elevators were working, which led to waits of 10+ minutes just to go up or down.
Finally, be sure to review your bill at checkout. We booked a rate that included breakfast and were given coupons to present to the servers, but were still incorrectly charged even after presenting the coupons during breakfast. The front desk was able to remove the extra charges.
Overall, while the hotel has some strong positives, we will consider other nearby options next time.

Beautiful hotel in a great location!
Pros:

The location to the Daikin Stadium was great; very clean and comfortable.

Cons:

One of the elevators was not working and there were a lot of guest this week. The wait for an elevator was extremely long at times and we ended up taking the stairs several times.

Input. For the price paid the room was very bare and not interesting. I have stayed at multiple other tribute portfolios, they had way more style and interesting things going for them (themes and such). I hate to sound like a total Karen. The staff was phenomenal and I had no issues whatsoever. I feel I could have got the same room somewhere else with half the price. Or also gotten a room for the same price somewhere else and gotten a lot more.
