Broken facilities and poor service — definitely not 4-star standard. Not recommended.
Cons:

When I checked in, I found that the washbasin was broken, with two sharp cuts/gashes and edges that could easily cut my hand. I asked the front desk to change my room. The front desk first asked me whether I had broken it, then said that other guests stay with it like this and asked why I could not. They also said there was no room available to change to and did not tell me how long I would need to wait. In the end, only after I contacted the hotel front desk through Booking.com’s official customer service was I given another room. The hotel facilities are very old and outdated and absolutely do not meet 4-star standards. I have stayed at 3–4 hotels in Kyiv, Ukraine, and this is the worst one. I do not understand how this hotel can have a score of 9.2 on Booking.com, and I hope Booking.com can verify whether this score genuinely reflects guests’ experiences.
