Nice room, but the front desk needs to get their act together... waiting 1 1/2 hours for my room!

Check-in was at 4pm as the sign says it is at the front desk I pre-checked with my arrival at 4:30pm the day before. Thought my keys would be there when I arrived at 4:15pm. I did not get my room until 5:50pm and missed dinner plans with my friends while waiting in the lobby during this time and seeing 4 other parties get their rooms before me. This is unexceptable especially for a Genius Level 3 member!

That was offered a late checkout online then when I asked for it took having to call and message 3 times and never got answer till after 10 am when I had to call again because head of house keeping was not in. And then was told the latest I could stay was 12
So why is it online you offer a 1 and 3 check out

Rude
Pros:

The manager was rude and unfriendly. Did not even smile one time. Never been treated like that at a motel before. Breakfast closed at 9am. I'm used breakfast lasting at least till 10am.
