The room was so comfortable and the bed was equally as comfortable..the staff, especially Francisco was very helpful..the bar staff was polite and accommodating ..breakfast was excellent

Cons:

hotel que necesita una renovación completa para ser realmente de 5 estrellas, ya que tiene un precio de 5 estrellas sin cumplir esos estándares: piscina vieja, toalla con una tarjeta como si la fueras a robar, baño de la habitación enano, perchas de gancho fijo.....etc. El precio es de 5 estrellas superior.

Pros:

This property was in a great location and very easy to walk into town but at the same time felt quiet. We loved the pool and the views. The lunch we had was amazing! We would 100% recommend and return ourselves!

Cons:

This property was great and there is not anything major we would change. The breakfast options could have been better but other than that we would not change anything!

Pros:

Fab hotel for a for a few night stay for the Harley Davidson European rally. Check-in was seamless, staff really friendly, short walk into town for dinner etc. Rooms well provided and clean, facilities superb. No complaints at all. Fab restaurant on site with views out to sea. Superb!

Cons:

A bit pricey compared to others, but very nice (lovely) hotel. We would happily stay again. Prices were inflated we think because of the Harley event compared to other times of year, but would still rebook again

This is a nice hotel, and comfortable, however the over inflated price of 500 plus per night demands much more, no garage, no doorman, no offer to carry bags to the room, the price tag demands these services and more. Other than that

Perfect location - lovely hotel
Pros:

The Farol is perfectly positioned about 10 minutes walk from Cascais Town, with a beautiful park on one side and the majestic Atlantic on the other. My room was in the basement, with a terrace facing onto the sea and a little inlet - lulled to sleep every night by the sound of the waves. The food was really good and the staff and service were great too. It would've been a five star review but for the poor sound insulation - I could hear conversations from the room next door and late every night there was an unmerciful racket caused by furniture being moved in the dining room above. I'll definitely be revisiting Cascais and the Farol - highly recommended.
