I had booked this hotel for our next trip but cancelled due to GROTESQUE EATING AREA. So sad because room was nice and
Pros:

Room was small but comfy

Cons:

The breakfast buffet was DULL
The breakfast cafe decor was GRUESOME (with skull and bones motif!!). I think the LOUD MUSIC was chosen purposely to discourage conversation and lingering beyond the time it took you to eat

Island in a storm
Pros:

I would like to thank the wonderful staff for taking such good care of us during the evacuation of Cold Springs during the Bug Fire. They accommodated our family on short notice and provided a much needed comfortable place to rest and recover.
The best part is that they are a pet friendly establishment and welcomed our furry family.
The rooms were clean and bright, the grounds are well groomed and the staff are friendly and helpful.
The restaurant Gambi's has a great menu and they will deliver food to your room. Another plus for us as we did not want to leave our pets.
It would not take an emergency for us to stay there again
Thank you to everyone who made out stay there such a comfort.

My stay exceeded my expectations
Pros:

I liked the friendly staff. The hotel was real clean the room was excellent it had comfortable bed and soft pillows. The free shuttle was a real good service that I fully took advantage of.

Cons:

I would say the only thing I didn’t like is that I could not get my room made after the first night I was told they will it get it done the next day but I was l already going to be checking out by then.

Disappointed
Pros:

The Hotel is very nice. My room was beautiful.

Cons:

The hotel was understaffed or perhaps, undertrained. We arrived to get our room key to find there were people already in our room. When I told the person behind the desk I felt dismissed. We finally were given a room ( non-handicapped) the next day we were moved to a handicapped room.
When we checked in we were asked if we wanted our room cleaned and how often. I asked for service every other day. I never had the room cleaned. When I looked into this I was given towels each time. After 3 days I finally put the dirty towels out in the hall.
My friend went to try out the gym and every machine was not in working order.
I really wanted to like this hotel as the grounds are nice and our room was nice. I can’t recommend it at present because of the service.
