Muy amena.
Pros:

1 night stay review
Pros:

I can't thank the Barceló staff enough for their kindness during my stay. Unfortunately, I had a small accident at the hotel—I missed a step, twisted my ankle, and was in quite a bit of pain.

From the moment it happened, the staff went above and beyond to help me. They assisted me back to my room, brought me ice, and made sure I was as comfortable as possible. What stood out most was how genuinely caring and concerned everyone was. Throughout the evening, several staff members checked in on me to see how I was doing and whether I needed anything.

I would especially like to recognize Carlos Mora from the security team and the management. The staff was incredibly helpful, attentive, and compassionate during the entire situation. Their kindness and willingness to assist made a difficult and painful experience much more manageable, and I am truly grateful for their support.

Masterful Operations & Flawless Security for Large-Scale Student Groups
Pros:

As a professional destination and event manager, executing a 10-day program for 250 participants—comprised of nine separate groups of middle school students from Texas and their chaperones—requires extraordinary logistical precision. The Barceló Santo Domingo delivered on every front, proving to be an exceptional partner for high-occupancy, complex youth movements.

The tone for our successful stay was set immediately at arrival. Under the brilliant direction of Reception Manager Daneiva Belén, both the check-in and check-out processes for our massive delegation were handled with incredible efficiency, speed, and professionalism. Furthermore, the property's standard of cleanliness was superb throughout the 10 days; the guest rooms, linens, bathrooms, and public hallways were kept absolutely immaculate.

Our program relied heavily on the banquets department, requiring two private meals per day for our entire delegation. Serving 500 covers daily across private dining salons is a massive undertaking, yet the experience was seamless. The food was consistently delicious, featuring a highly varied cuisine. Special recognition goes to Rosael Quezada in the Sales department for her masterful coordination of the internal teams, and to Wilka Martinez and her entire banquets department for their flawless execution. The banquet supervisors—Sarah Espaillat, Juan Lagares, German Rodriguez, and Lisa Santos—along with chefs Genaro Susaña, Donato Ramires, and Emmanuel Garo, delivered remarkable efficiency. Furthermore, Manuel Ramirez (encargado de materiales) was indispensable, ensuring we always had the necessary equipment on hand.

A massive standout of our stay was the Executive Lounge. The entire lounge staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and helpful, offering a sanctuary of seamless service that provided invaluable support to our management team throughout the intense program.

For a student group, safety and moving luggage efficiently are non-negotiable. The front door security officers and the exceptional bell team (maleteros)—Henry Lora, Aurelio Alcalá, Carlos de la Cruz, and Bautista Romero—managed our daily arrivals and departures with strict vigilance. Guest Services standout Yuleisy Molino ensured our logistics remained smooth, and the hotel accommodated our critical request to provide dedicated security personnel on every single floor where students were housed.

From arrival logistics to banquet execution, the staff’s adaptability made a massive logistical puzzle feel effortless. I highly recommend the Barceló Santo Domingo for any organization hosting large-scale group programs.
