Customer service shocking especially the old lady at the reception. Very rude , obnoxious, unfriendly and very unhelpful

Cons:

The staff at the reception are very rude, unwelcoming and unfriendly. Overall customer service was awful. Similarly at the bar when trying to order food. The was not the best either.

Great Value Hotel near London Gatwick
Pros:

What a surprise.....After reading all these negative comments I was so pleased I did not take any notice of them. I went ahead and booked directly with the hotel. Got a very good price and was so happy with my large room, which was quiet and clean. No its not 5* and its not newly decorated but I cannot fault the the service checking in. I did not use the restaurant but I will next time I book. Thank you Europa Gatwick....Thank you Britannia Hotels

Was a great location and nice outdoors feel.
Pros:

Rooms good, Other than that rooms are spacious but minimalistic. Fact that the hotel location is set with several walks and ample parking. Food Great with the buffet.

Cons:

Rooms sound proofing not good as one could hear all from the room next door. Bed was bit hard for personal requirement. Need to provide "Do not disturb signage/ makeup the room signage".

Dangerous If You Have Allergies
Pros:

My daughter has a severe egg allergy. We checked the menu and asked to see the allergen folder. We found a meal for my daughter that stated it was egg free on the menu and in the allergen folder.
As we started ordering it was stated by the kitchen staff that the meal does contain egg.
This is totally illegal and incredibly dangerous. It could have killed my daughter or anyone else under such circumstances and I shall be following this up.

Lovely place to stay, lovely grounds, free parking!
Pros:

Good value for money! Enjoyed the access to the gym/pool facilities

Pros:

Close to airport

Cons:

Small double room was 4 foot bed which I do not consider big enough for 2 adults. You could only get in from one side as the bed was 6 inches away from window. We had to walk across a dark car park to lodge with all our luggage and I walk with a stick. No help offered.
