Service is exceptional, I met jeffrey and he's very friendly and hospitable... he will always greet you with smile and very authentic!
Jeffrey of front desk is very accommodating. He say hi everyday, very accommodating, he always asked how was our day and gives recommendations on where to go. Great customer service..
It is very convienant to San Jose Civic.
Needs some touch up maintenance to rooms.
These positive reviews are interesting. Are they bots? Diners who get bill reductions? No one has mentioned how insanely loud the airport traffic is. The train out front is also loud as are the cars flying over the tracks. Perfect hotel for a deaf traveler but someone sensitive to noise (kids, families) should absolutely look elsewhere. Parking is $45/night to park yourself.
Hilton San Jose is your typical business hotel — sterile, devoid of life and overpriced. Area isn’t great, and the room was way too expensive for what it was.
Pros:
- ok gym
- guest laundry was handy
- decent menu options at the restaurant
Cons
- designed by someone with no taste
- no kettles
- location is soulless
- towels felt like they were from Temu
- front desk service is kind of awful. I had trouble ordering room service so I went down to ask if the restaurant was still open and was treated like I was asking the entire Fibonacci sequence. The person at the front desk looked at me bewildered and told me to go to the restaurant and ask them myself (the restaurant was deserted and looked very much closed). Totally rude behaviour for a basic question about restaurant hours.
The front desk concierge said that due to how I book the room that I couldn’t include my Hilton Honor points! Was not happy regarding that
The gym was the height of our stay.
We felt catfish by the pool. N
Hot tub not warm and pools were dirty.

La piscina es pequeña
The people made this an exceptional experience. I left an item behind when I left, and the staff, Lisa and Antonio and manager, Marc came through for me when the corporate app to report lost items completely failed. Marc sent the item to me and it arrived today. It was refreshing to have a personal touch in a corporate chain hotel. Bravo, staff!
The place was nice and clean food was good.but some what expensive bed was comfortable .nice place to park. Everything close by.shopping was in walking distance
Shower was a little dirty hair left in shower from previous guess..no room service
I don’t even know where to start. This was the worse hotel experience we ever had.
We had booked rooms at your hotel for an important conference. Upon arriving at the hotel around midnight (00:00) on May 13th, 2026, we were informed that Housekeeping had not yet cleaned our rooms, and they remained unusable. We were told that, if we wished, clean bed sheets and towels could be provided, but we would need to prepare the uncleaned rooms ourselves. This was told to us, and the General Manager was nowhere to be seen while these instances occurred.
Considering that the official check-in time starts at 3:00 PM, it is completely unacceptable that the rooms remained uncleaned even nine hours later. This situation falls far below the service standards and guest satisfaction expectations associated with the Hilton brand. Not only was the cleaning not done in nine hours, but there was also no clear plan for guests expected to arrive that day. In our opinion, nine hours is enough time for the Hilton San Jose to contact other area hotels, make necessary arrangements, and secure a room for us at a nearby hotel before our arrival.
As a result, we were unable to stay at your property. Instead, we arranged alternative accommodation at a DoubleTree hotel approximately 25 minutes away and were forced to cover the Uber transportation cost ourselves late at night after an exhausting journey. After our stay at the DoubleTree, the Hilton San Jose team also asked us to take an Uber back to the Hilton San Jose because the conference was in San Jose. When we got to the reception we were told our rooms were still not available.
This experience caused significant inconvenience and disappointment, especially given that we chose Hilton expecting professionalism, comfort, and reliability for our business trip.
We sent our receipts for the transportation for a reimbursement to the Director of Rooms Mark Vanderkolk. Didn’t even receive an email confirming the reimbursement and had to chase him down in the hotel for him to say it was done with no apologies for the inconvenience.
The only good thing about this hotel was the receptionists because they were the only ones that felt sorry about what the hotel put us through.
The super clean room
Great location, easy access, great room size, great view.
The air conditioning did not work, it only dispensed very hot air, no cool air. It was a very hot, uncomfortable night.
Also, very expensive parking fee.
In town for a volleyball tournament and spent Mother’s Day brunch at SECCO. The fish tacos were delicious. Horacio made brunch with my daughters in between volleyball games possible. We were even able to share a couple slices of cheesecake and chocolate cake.
