Convenience to my next destination
The site stated breakfast and he only had grabbing go items

When we arrived we checked in and was told the elevator was not working and had to take carry our 2 children up to the second floor. Our walk to the room was a foul smell almost like stinky socks mixed with urine which I assume is the carpet as it wasn’t vacuumed nor looked shampooed in a while. Meanwhile yellow posters were taped to several rooms on the second floor stating closure for certain hours for pest control and raised a red flag to the room we stayed in. As we began settling down the room itself was dirty containing dust on the bed frame, unswept corners and most concerning complain was roaches under the bed and in the bathroom walls. We instantly reported to the front desk and left requesting a full refund. With the booking price our family had better expectations that were not met.

The hotel rooms need to be upgraded, and the beds were horrible .
Location near to beach and restaurants
We expected a swimming pool but it was closed for repairs the whole time we were there. We have stayed here on many occasions before and the swimming pool is the reason we go to this hotel. So dissatisfied. The breakfast was also under stocked on quite a few mornings.
I liked that it wasn’t far from anything we wanted to do! Close to the beach!!!
Very great for the price! Could come with basics like a shampoo or conditioner but there was soap and body wash

We accidentally booked the handicap accessible room, which was our mistake. But there wasn't any other available rooms to move to. This was not the hotels fault.
Went to Extended Stay in San Marcos- free breakfast- muffins only- nothing hot- as a business traveler- muffins are not breakfast. An longer stay than 2 days and no business office- couldn't even print one page- no key to restroom on the first floor- coffee was scarce - even though they have a good coffee machine. I was there 10 days- had to escalate to get a third chair in a room that says it accommodates 4? TV was not functioning when we got there- bright spot- maintenance fixed quickly. Ryan on front desk was very friendly. Nope- didn't earn any repeat business from me. I have 3 more trips to go - 10 days each for the rest of the year. You can be assured that I will not be staying at Extended Stay America.
