Hidden oasis of calm
Pros:

I chose the Indigo as it was close to the Lido (for the film festival) and the Art Biennale which was just walking distance. It was perfect. Nice to feel part of normal life…

Pros:

beautiful quiet location away from the craziness. But close enough to walk over to Saint Marco in 20 minutes. Or take water taxi. We bought the 3 day pass on the water taxi which made it super easy to go back and forth. Staff was lovely, beautiful hotel

Highlight of our trip
Pros:

Such a beautiful hotel, staff were so friendly and accommodation was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was 5 star. So much variety

Cons:

It was maybe a little far from the centre but I enjoyed that it was more filled more with locals and had a very relaxed quite family feel

L'Indigo è un posto bellissimo, nel quartiere più bello di Venezia, S. Elena.

Cons:

Prenotata camera per quattro, ma salta fuori che il secondo letto matrimoniale in realtà è un divano letto in cui dormire in due è praticamente impossibile, tanto che una delle persone che viaggiavano con me ha dovuto prendere un'altra stanza
