Hotel La Fortezza

Nice room, great breakfast, really friendly staff, clean quiet and comfortable. A little bit far from the Historical center of town, but it was in a quiet and safe neighborhood.

Unser Aufenthalt im Hotel war wirklich super! Jeder Mitarbeiter war sehr freundlich und hat bei Fragen weitergeholfen, das Zimmer war 1A, ebenso die Ausstattung vom Zimmer - es war sehr ruhig. Anscheinend wurde das Hotel bzw. die Zimmer erst renoviert. Das Frühstrück war exzellent. Zu Fuß ist man in ca. 10 - 15 Minuten im Stadtzentrum, mit der Straßenbahn noch schneller. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt: Die Bahn vom Flughafen ist auch in der Nähe und etwa 25 Minuten entfernt. Klare Empfehlung!

We had a great stay at La Fortezza. It was convenient to the train station (just 2 tram stops away!) and the hotel itself is lovely. The rooms were spacious and updated, the bathroom facilities were brand new in our room (with a nice strong shower - American style :)). The staff couldn't have been more helpful, gracious, and kind. The hotel was also convenient to the city center where we spent most of our time. I highly recommend La Fortezza as your hotel in Firenze!

I knew little about this hotel other than what was in a few TripAdvisor reviews. The hotel was absolutely lovely. It was incredibly clean and the hotel personnel were very friendly and helpful. This was a very easy walk - even with luggage (carry-on, not big suitcases) - from the train station and the main parts of town. My walks ranged 10-20 minutes to my destination. I was incredibly impressed with the value I received for the price.

Great location. 2 stops on the tram from the train station then a 2 minute walk. Hotel is spotlessly clean and all of the staff are so friendly, polite and very helpful. Our room was lovely and modern . The bed was very comfortable . Plenty of space for clothes etc too. Breakfast was buffet style with a good selection and all fresh.

Chambre bien équipée, literie confortable. Climatisation silencieuse.
Parking et station de tram et de bus pas trop loin.
Personnel aimable.
Petit déjeuner bien a un prix raisonnable.

Posizione ottima per i mezzi pubblici, colazione abbondante e varia, pulizia e grandezza delle camere, parcheggio interno..tutto perfetto!

Great place to stay in Firenze!

Excellent location for walking or taking the tram to sights in Florence. Room was comfortable and clean. Concierge was friendly and helpful. We opted to add the breakfast and it was very nice. I feel the rate we paid was very reasonble. Highly recommend. We would stay here again.

I would highly recommend this hotel. The staff really make it, so kind and welcoming.
The hotel it self is set in such a great location as you’re out of the main hustle and bustle but can access it really easily.
There is also plenty of public transport just at the end of the road.
The hotel is really clean and the rooms are well maintained. It has charm and in a tasteful manor.
Breakfast was a great selection of food, you would not go hungry.
I would re book this place if I ever came to Florence again.

Wunderschönes Zimmer in einem wunderschönen Hotel. Die Lage ist gut, fußläufig ist man in 20 min im Zentrum. Das Frühstück ist sehr süß ausgelegt, aber in Ordnung.

The hotel is an efficient, clean, quiet and comfortable boutique hotel. Lovely breakfast, very comfortable beds with a nice selection of pillows. Excellent shower (often a rarity, I find). It is slightly out of the centre but that is a plus point as you’re away from the noise and can have a peaceful escape. Only a 10 mins walk to the station, 15 mins to Piazza Santa Maria Novella, and right next to the Fortezza da Basil. The locality is pleasant and safe. I highly can recommend it,
