Important information:

Midlands Park Health & Fitness Club opens Monday – Friday from 6.30am till 9:30pm (last entry at 9pm), Saturday & Sunday (including bank holidays) 8:30am-7pm (last entry 6:30pm)

Wearing of pool shoes and swim cap is compulsory at the pool area. You can purchase pool shoes at the Leisure center. Children are welcome until 18:30 each evening.

Children Policy: Children are welcome in all public areas until 21:00 in the evening.

Please note that payment may be processed 48 hours prior to arrival.

Children under 4 years old sharing a room with adults are free on a B&B basis.
Children between 5 and 12 years sharing a room with adults are charged EUR 6.00 per night per child on a B&B basis.

Guests must present a valid credit card under their name on check in. Failing to do so would result in a refusal to provide accommodations, even if another form of payment is offered.

Children between 13 and 16 years sharing a room with adults are charged EUR 10 per night per child on a B&B basis.

Service animals are welcome in the hotel.

Lovely hotel and exceptional staff
Pros:

Lovely hotel, super clean, staff were a particular highlight - absolutely exceptional!

Cons:

The beds were very soft, but that’s obviously a personal preference thing, and my room overlooked the street and was on the second floor but there were no privacy coverings for the windows so I had to have the black out curtains drawn for privacy.

Pros:

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel is lovely. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. A fan was provided in the room. Breakfast was good with a wide variety of choice.

Excellent location, spacious and luxurious
Pros:

It was my first time here. I stayed two nights for a conference in one of their function rooms. The location is great. In the middle of town and next to the train station. The hotel itself is really beautifully decorated, spacious and clean. The staff were all lovely to interact with. I got a corner room at the front and it was very big. We were having some very hot weather and I really appreciated the big fan that was already placed in my room. There was also a water cooler in the corridor which was a great thing to have. Had dinner and drinks downstairs in the bar as well and found the portions generous and the food very tasty. I appreciated the late check out time as other hotels are normally too early. I really liked the suites used for the conference and the staff went all out to make sure we were all fed and hydrated. I liked the outdoor patio area and the fact that they opened up the fire doors so that we could take a breather outside. A small thing but I love that they gave us large mugs for tea/coffee and not those tiny teacups! I will definitely consider coming back and staying again.

Cons:

I was told at reception that they don't own the multi-story carpark attached to them. The day rate for it is very expensive. Unfortunately I couldn't take the train from where I was coming from, but for those planning to stay here I would recommend not taking the car.

All grand, but get the train if booking on here and no parking unless you are prepared to pay €22 per day
Pros:

The reception and hotel staff were lovely.
I had a pizza at the bar when I arrived, and as I was late the kitchen had just closed, so I was grateful the chef was happy to feed me after a 3 hour drive.
The spa was lovely, I only got an hour after the first day of the conference I was attending, but you need a cap which if to don’t can get one for €3.

Cons:

There is NO car parking available other than a multi-storey next door, which if you book on here (booking.com) I was told I wasn’t eligible for the hotels car park rate… as such it would be €22 a day!
As I was there attending a conference for 2 days as a student, this left me a bit speechless.
Someone at the conference said there was a special rate for attendees, but as I hadn’t booked B&B I was also not eligible for this… maybe I misunderstood, but I’ve booked many times on here and never experienced this- it was not obvious anywhere when I booked online, or when I arrived… maybe I missed the small print, but I most certainly was not expecting to have to pay so much to park my car at a 4* hotel, I’ve stayed in 5* in Dublin City centre for less!

Pros:

Thought the whole hotel was very professional, all staff were excellent in their manner and always very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent and we had ate in the bar area a few times the food was very good and well priced. I really enjoyed my stay.
Would definitely be back.

Cons:

Not much, if I had to say I would rather have a shower screen, not a curtain and a flexible shower not a fixed one.
