Fantastic Hotel
Pros:

We loved our stay at Hotel Gault. The breakfast was delicious. The location is prime in Old Montreal, with close access to the Metro, RESO underground, Bixi bikes, and the waterfront. Our room had a lovely balcony with a table in the sun.

Cons:

Everything was perfect.

Amazing staff and great location
Pros:

The location was great. The staff was amazing. Charlotte went out of her way to help us including making dinner reservations for us and tour bus reservations.

Cons:

Our room looked very avant garde when you walked in but it wasn’t comfortable. The seating was uncomfortable. The bed was low and hard to get in and out of and the bathroom was awkward. Maybe okay for younger people.

Solid modern seasoned classic hotel in best location
Pros:

Perfect location of this charming hotel. I did like the modern touch inside the old building.
Our corner room was generously big and quite silent considering downtown on a long weekend.
And last but not least, the hotel team was very welcoming!!!

Cons:

Tiny (maybe negligible) details here and there keep me from giving a 10 star rating considering the price.

Wonderful stay in Montreal
Pros:

The location was perfect, very close to the old town on a quiet street. The personnel were very attentive. They upgraded our room and helped us with our car situation immediately. The room was super clean and the beddings were so comfortable. I would definitely come back!

Cons:

The breakfast service was slow and the taste was okay.

A stay in Old Montreal that is anything but old fashioned
Pros:

Friendly and accommodating staff. Impeccable interior design in a beautiful historic building. Breakfast was also pretty good.

Cons:

The radiators in our room were making gurgling noises, which made it hard to sleep. Thankfully, staff were happy to upgrade us to a larger, quieter room which resolved the issue.

Hôtel très sympa mais pas totalement accessible aux handicapés
Pros:

Hôtel très sympa en centre ville, moderne et très propre

L'emplacement est pratique, la salle de bain est top et la chambre spacieuse :)

Cons:

Le lit est petit alors que la chambre est super grande et le petit déjeuner n'a pas d'intérêt particulier.

J'aurai aimé pouvoir entrer dans l'hôtel plus facilement mais l'interphone de l'accès handicapé ne fonctionne pas et personne ne vient ouvrir !

Okay. Wouldn’t stay again.

Cons:

The heater made loud noises all night. The bed was super uncomfortable. A couple good staff, but many too busy socializing to greet you, or provide service at breakfast.
