Su tre ascensori 2 non funzionanti da tempo

Le camere un po’ impolverate con qualche lavoretto da fare, lo staff senza neanche un sorriso, abbiamo dovuto pagare 5 sterline per lasciare gli zaini prima del check-in.. non c’era il telefono in camera

Leider war unser Aufenthalt durch ein Baugerüst und abgeklebte Fenster beeinträchtigt, worüber wir vorab nicht informiert wurden. Dadurch war die Sicht nach draußen und der Lichteinfall im Zimmer eingeschränkt. Zudem gab es kleinere technische Mängel, wie einen nicht funktionierenden Fernseher und Probleme mit dem Spiegel (Licht defekt). Zu allem Überfluss gab es noch eine unberechtigte Abbuchung von unserer Kreditkarte, die sich zum Glück nach einigem Aufwand rückabwickeln ließ.

My boyfriend and I stayed here to celebrate his 30th birthday in London. The newly renovated rooms are beautifully styled, we really liked the bathroom, and the location is excellent. However, several aspects of our stay were disappointing.

The room was extremely small, with very little space to move around. The bed felt too narrow for two adults, and the mattress was very hard, making it difficult for us to sleep comfortably.

After our first night, we asked reception whether they could provide a mattress topper or another solution. Unfortunately, they were unable to help. We would have appreciated more effort to address our discomfort.

I had also let the hotel know that we were visiting for my boyfriend’s 30th birthday and asked whether they could write a small card welcoming him to London. Unfortunately, this wasn’t done. While I understand that birthday gestures are optional, it was disappointing that this simple request went unacknowledged and added to our feeling that the service lacked personal attention.

We also found the £5 charge for luggage storage after checkout disappointing, as we would expect this to be included for hotel guests.

The biggest issue was the considerable noise from the ongoing renovation work. This affected our comfort and detracted from what should have been a special birthday trip.

Although we appreciated the design and location, a comfortable bed, a restful stay and attentive service are essential. Based on our experience, we would not book this hotel again.

Personale altamente scortese, preso la camera migliore, ci hanno messo al primo piano e hanno fatto tutta la settimana lavori fuori dal nostro balcone e sulla stanza sotto di noi, SONO DA DENUNCIA, l’hotel si chiude per queste cose, personale maleducatissimo, ci entrava in camera senza bussare, ZERO PRIVACY. Sono tentata a denunciarli per violazione della privacy in quanto mi hanno vista nuda uscita dalla doccia, perché passvano di sera entravano e non bussavo!!! Più di una volta. TERRIBILE dovrebbero minimo risarcirmi per il disagio

The room had water leaking AC, and we couldn't stop the noise with anything. However the personal put effort in changing our room

la habitación que me dieron no tenia ventana, situada en un segundo sotano, sin luz ni ventilación. Pedí un cambio de habitacion y se limitaron a decirme que yo habia reservado una habitación sin ventana, cuando eso es mentira.
El personal del hotel muy seco y frío, nada simpáticos. El hotel estaba en obras, la puerta principal estaba cerrada y teníamos que acceder por una puerta lateral. Había ruído de las obras.

The beds are very small and extremely uncomfortable. I was also disappointed that we had to pay to store our luggage the next day.

He reservado 2 habitaciones. Una para 3 personas y otra para 2 personas. Cuando llegué informaron que la habitación para 2 personas era abajo. Y cuando entre, una habitación diminuta, SIN VENTANA. He tenido que pagar la diferencia y correr otra habitación para 3 personas para poder tener ventana. Me pareció inapresentable esta habitación sin ventanas y también inadmissível el facto de que no había cualquier información en "booking" que la habitación elegida seria sin ventana. Mi parece una información importante para tener.

There was only one operational lift at the time of our stay, and as we were on 6th floor, it sometimes took longer to get to our room.

construction/renovation work was still undergoing ( I knew it from previous reviews) but I could not access nor open my room window

Only one lift worked and it was very slow so had to use the stairs and we were on the 5th floor. Our room was small for a triple not much room at all and long mirror in wrong place to see ourselves because of the bed would have been better outside the bathroom. And renovations going on.
