Kudos to concierge Sarah and front desk person Lucas for going the extra mile for me and my family. From accommodating early check in requests, to the birthday items, to cheerfully providing prompt valet throughout the property - your efforts were noted and your professionalism appreciated.
It was unfortunate that the A/C went out in the guest cottage suite - we reported several times however the issue was not fixed prior to check out. Appreciate the room credit - comping the one night stay was the right thing to do however it would have been better to have the facility properly maintained so that my family did not have to suffer through a hot, sleepless night with a toddler.
One inconvenience was not having enough casual, family-friendly dining options onsite that do not require a car ride. The Barista offers a very limited menu and several items were sold out during our visit
Brunch service at the Grandview Dining Room needs tightening up. We waited about 30 min for our food and noticed others sitting and waiting as well. Our server Casey moved at a snail's pace and had to be flagged down for water and other drink refills.
The king suites were clean, convenient and quiet. Housekeeping did an excellent job of servicing the rooms promptly and quietly. Views, pools, and workout facilities are top notch.
It would be good to open up the splash pad before 10am in the summer.
Thanks for a memorable family vacation!
Great stay in a beautiful resort. Great views and location. Any restaurant or attraction was no more than 20 mins away in either direction. Would recommend a visit here. We stayed in a two bedroom casita which was perfect for our family of 4
Had two great rooms for our family. Food and service were great. Girls really enjoyed the spa too. If we make any trips back to Colorado Springs we will be staying here.
We had a wonderful three night stay. Our room was modern and spacious, and the view of the Garden of the Gods couldn’t be beat from the patio or even the bed! Loved the Lavazza, Tea Forte, and water to come back to after a busy day. Hotel is conveniently located close to all the local attractions, making it super convenient.
overall experience is good but i would like to bring to your attention that the air conditioner in my room was not working properly. Despite adjusting the settings, the room remain very hot and uncomfortable.
The location is amazing, the service is awful! Don’t expect your room to be ready at the guaranteed check in of 4pm and the staff do not even pretend to care about customer service.
Wow! Rooms were perfect. View amazing. Food for dinner and breakfast was incredible. Bar tenders were excellent. Pool was great. Clean and quiet. Not a single bad thing to say about this resort.
Everything staff was great facility was beautiful
nothing
The view we had was like a painting, it was stunning!
I was on bottom floor and you could really hear the people above us was the only thing I didn’t like
This was an amazing place to stay. There are too many things to do for a short stay; hiking, golf, swimming, sauna, restaurant/bar, the food was amazing, a wellness spa with massages & facials, and oh my word…the views!
A great place for a wedding and reception.
The room was beautiful with ample space, great amenities, comfortable bed and chairs, and the view was majestic. Dining was enjoyable as well with beautiful views. Saturdays entertainment at the bar was very good. Loved the yoga mat, blocks, and strap provided in room.
Breakfast prices were very high.
The view!!!
The run stopper was broken, check-in could have been smoother with more information
Our favorite resort in Colorado! We love it!
Amazing! I have traveled to thirty countries and stayed in more than two hundred hotels, and never had a room or view that was even close.
A room overlooking the Garden of the Gods is not to be missed. But the restaurant was not very good. Food was oddly flavored and bread offerings were subpar (bland, mostly industrial white breads.)
My wife and I booked Garden of the Gods Resort for our wedding anniversary — and a break from my stage 4 cancer treatment. We chose this property because we wanted a luxury experience that would take care of us. We ended up having to take care of ourselves.
The issues started before we even checked in. I called to book excursions and was told by the concierge that she was leaving for the day, couldn’t help, and would call me back. She never did. I followed up nearly 24 hours later and got the Falconry experience booked — except incorrectly, as the Beginner lesson instead of the Beginner/Intermediate combo we wanted. By the time I caught it, all availability was gone.
During the stay: couples spa appointments were unavailable and staff made little effort to find alternatives or work us in. We requested breakfast on the veranda and were told no — while at least ten tables sat empty for the entirety of our meal. We asked about the hot tub and were pointed to one that was empty and out of service, with no mention of another — I located that amenity myself. Room service arrived without a spoon for the oatmeal and no butter for the bread basket. Our final bill was itemized incorrectly. I could go on.
The through-line of our experience: “Let me see what we can do” followed by “Sorry, we can’t accommodate you.”
Midway through our stay, the front desk manager sent a text asking how things were going. I rated it 2 out of 5. They asked what they could do to improve. I responded with a full, detailed account of our experience. No one ever replied. That response — or the lack of one — says as much as anything else.
This resort serves both members and paying guests. As guests, we felt that distinction consistently. The attentiveness and flexibility that defines true luxury hospitality seemed reserved for members.
One evening we had dinner at The Broadmoor. We hadn’t mentioned our anniversary — they asked. Then they went out of their way to make it memorable. That one detail says everything about the difference between a resort that goes through the motions and one that genuinely shows up for its guests.
The grounds here are genuinely stunning. The views of Garden of the Gods are unmatched. But if you’re traveling as a guest — not a member — temper your expectations around service. This property has not figured out how to make guests feel like they belong here.
Staff was nice, but they're not reinvesting in the resort...bathroom mirror was all cracked and looked very bad, known electrical issues (our fridge fuse kept blowing) are not being fixed, espresso drinks with milk are lukewarm (they said the machine doesn't get that hot), general staff knowledge of the resort, menus, etc. was hit or miss. We will not be going back.
The room was clean, comfortable with a spectacular view. The hiking nearby was . A great experience that I hope to repeat.
