Good location. Refreshed new room!
Pros:

Location. The renovated room looks refreshing and spectacular.

Cons:

Not a dislike but unfortunate the slide pool was not available to use during our stay.

Overall very good - would happily stay again
Pros:

Good size, lovely renovated bathroom, bed was comfortable, good location.

Cons:

Not a fan of Valet parking so we parked on street.

Not happy with cleanliness of carpets - not vacuumed very well as light coloured hair was noticed in room when entering.

Also tea and coffee supplied in room but no teaspoons or plates . Had to ask downstairs at restaurant.

Poor value for money
Pros:

Location was good.

Cons:

Thought it was a bit ordinary that for the price, plates and cutlery were not part of the room's amenities unless requested. The room was equipped with a microwave and sink/bench so these items should be standard without having to make a special request. Our bathroom had no toilet paper whatsoever which is a very big oversight on house keeping's behalf. Staff did bring some promptly to our room once this was pointed out.

It was a bed for the night. Wouldn't return.
Pros:

Location is hard to beat. Perfect for Newcastle. Great views.

Cons:

So many add ons to the price. Parking is extra, breakfast is extra, movies are extra. Way to easy for kids to access movies and get it charged to your account. Got the 2 bedroom apartment for our family, yet was really just two little rooms together, so tiny living space as if you had 2 people. Lots of construction / renovating of rooms on our level too. So we found it was noisy in the afternoon and didn't feel like a hotel as you walked through our level (our room was right on the opposite end of the lifts too). Walking on plastic flooring and past patched walls. Slide for the pool was closed too, so kids were disappointed about that too. Only spoons & mugs in the room, despite having a microwave.
