I really appreciated the towels here--often at hotels I get really scratchy sandpaper like towels that are very small but the apolonias towels were luxuriously long and very soft.
The woman serving the breakfast learned my needs after one day and had things ready for me the subsequent days.
The AC was incredible. We were there during a heatwave (~90f/35c)and there were mixed reviews with some complaining about the AC functionality but..... idk I guess those people want to live in a freezer. The AC more than cooled our room.
The neighborhood was also incredible and we loved the nearby restaurants. One night we got takeout from a nearby arepa restaurant and then brought it back to eat in the hotel courtyard and that was really a nice ammenity.
Towels didn't dry well on the hooks in the bathroom. Subsequent nights I hung it on a hanger in the room and it still didn't dry well. If I had stayed there any longer I would have just asked for a new towel or had the room service so that it could get replaced (this was obviously a choice and it's my fault for not entertaining these alternatives).
Similarly, I should have asked for an additional pillow. I like sleeping on my side but also like two pillows under my head. Had I asked I don't doubt they would have provided one.
Petit déjeuner impeccable. Situation idéale pour visiter Montmartre ou même pour aller au stade de France, car le métro est à 250 m. Et la gare du Nord rapidement accessible en métro.
