I was attempting to save money on my housing, but this was not worth the savings.
Pros:

The bed was comfortable. The waffle maker in the lobby produced a good size waffle in the shape of Texas!

Cons:

The room was very small, there was NO closet, only hooks on the wall. The way the shower was constructed - it was supposed to be a handicap accessible but had a large water curb which would be hard to roll over in a wheelchair - allowed water to go all over the floor of the bathroom. Only the bare minimum in towels provided, so there was no mopping up said water all over the floor after a shower. If you put the bath mat in front of the shower you couldn't use it as a bath mat because it was soaked after the shower. Breakfast was very minimal, no yogurt, only apples for fruit. Only orange juice for juice options. The in-room refrigerator wasn't cold, just cool and we had it turned to the coldest setting. All in all, a very poor choice on our part.

City officials need to investigate!

The kindness of staff with having to work at such a disgusting environment.

Cons:

Let's start with room 108 the overall smell of the room. It smelled like mold & mildew. And looking at the restroom it was obvious why, the shower leaked and has been for a while. The shower was separated from the wall and the floor tiles were coming up with mold around them. The bathroom door and frame was swollen due to water damage and would not shut even if it was forced. The electrical outlet was burnt out which was a HUGE SAFETY ISSUE!!. It had 2 tv's in it, 1 was mounted on the wall and the other was sitting on dresser directly in front of the other ( guess the wall mounted one didn't work and it was not removed).The outside area smelled as if a beer brewery was dumping old beer there for years. The pool area was littered with trash ( should have been the first sign of how the inside of the room was going to be). We paid for 2 nights there and decided not to stay but go to other hotel where we felt safe, amenities worked and room was clean and inviting.
