Good location and large clean apartment style hotel with space for large groups.
No signage on front of building that made it a little tricky to locate and check in instructions came at the last minute making it a little stressful.
Our stay at this property (The Louie Hotel New Orleans, Belvilla District 6 Formerly Sonder) in New Orleans was extremely disturbing and frightening. We checked in through self check-in around 9:30 PM. After a few hours, around midnight, 3–4 unknown individuals came directly to our apartment door and aggressively attempted to break in by repeatedly banging on the door, shouting loudly, and demanding that we come outside. The banging was extremely violent and continued for nearly 15-20 minutes, making us fear for our safety and believe that they might attempt to enter the room. The incident was so traumatic that we were unable to sleep for the rest of the night.
This incident left us extremely terrified and uncomfortable. We had no idea who these people were, how they knew our room, or what their intentions were. Given the situation, we were genuinely afraid that they could have been carrying weapons or attempting to force entry into the apartment. There was absolutely no security or immediate support available at the property.
Because we no longer felt safe staying there, we urgently booked another accommodation during the same night and vacated the property the following morning. This caused major stress, financial loss, and completely disrupted our trip.
What was even more disappointing was the handling of the issue afterward. We requested a refund from the property due to the serious safety concerns as we booked the apartment for 6 days and we hardly stayed there for a day, but never received any meaningful or positive response. Whenever we contacted the property’s customer service, they redirected us to Booking.com. On the other hand, when we contacted Booking.com, they repeatedly asked the property to address the issue, but the property failed to any response either to us or Booking.com. Entire process has only involved delays, back-and-forth communication, and no concrete resolution. Despite continuous follow-up, both sides continue to handle irresponsibly.

no staff to clean puke from guests, when we arrived the main door was open with a bunch of drunk guests and smoking marijuana for high school graduation... they puke in front of my door, in the lift rails and side, damage the lift that end up out of order and we were on third floor. maid did not clean well the puke it was still smelling bad and came 6 hours after my report, the smell was strong until the kitchen while i was having breakfast... horrible stay and there is no staff replying to messages with booking
The place looked nice and the bed were comfy and the linens were clean
We did not receive check in instructions. It was not made clear to us that there was no staff onsite. There were no kitchen towels/tea towels and the tools in the kitchen were minimal (ie, no scissors). The place was mostly clean, but it certainly wasn't deep cleaned in the corners.
The Location was central to everything going on within the city of New Orleans
It was falsely advertised as having 3 bathrooms but upon checkin it was only 2 bathrooms the customer service representative were of litlle to no help and waited until the day of checkout to break the agreed upon offer of compensation for the inconvenience claiming it was booking.com who did the details of the listing.

Pressão de água no apartamento é fraca, a acústica práticamente não existe, facilmente vc fica ouvindo a tv do apartamento ao lado. Tive um inconveniente com o chuveiro de um dos banheiros que estava quebrado o suporte da ducha, enviei msg pela plataforma mas não tive retorno.
Rooms were excellent, minor issues only.
The shower pressure was bad and it ran out of hot water quick. Also the attached bathroom in apartment 2A had the toilet running constantly.
The room was beautiful, well laid out, clean.
The elevator didn't work. I had to get another room for a member of our group because she couldn't climb 3 flights of stairs. The listing did not say the elevator was out. So make sure you can haul your luggage.
We loved the space. It looked newly renovated with quality materials. The beds were very comfortable. High end Matouk towels and soaps, shampoos & etc from Frama that smell so good. I bring my own soaps when I travel but didn’t use them this time because The Louie supplied superb quality and plenty for our short 3 night stay.
Elevator was broken. We were on top (3rd) floor. It was brutal to bring luggage up & down. First day, I called the contact number supplied and was told it would be fixed next day but never got fixed for entire stay. I am nearing 60 and it was difficult but place was amazing so I choose to not dwell on it.

Everything from the front door to the customer service we tried to get help from. HORRIBLE experience! Thank goodness Booking.com helped us or we would have been sleeping in our car. Do not deal with this place!
It was a very comfortable space and had everything we needed. The staff was very quick to respond and deliver when we needed more towels. The ac and appliances worked well for our needs and the beds slept us all comfortably. The soaps provided in the bathrooms smelled amazing.
The walls were just really thin so we were able to hear others staying on our floor very easily. The bathrooms didn’t seem to have vents or they at least didn’t work, so they stayed humid and stuffy after showers. The door code panels were also kind of hit-or-miss and weren’t the most intuitive or easy to use.

Great clean and comfortable 3 bedroom apartment with everything we needed. We only stayed 1 night so didn't use any of the kitchen facilities or TV etc. Very well cleaned and toiletries were provided for us. The apartment and the building were very secure and the neighbourhood seemed safe enough, certainly more safe than some other parts of downtown New Orleans.
Everything was better than expected, we had no dislikes.
