Bad experience. Do not book this property on Booking.com! The host only checks Airbnb messages.
Pros:

The location was good. Quiet neighborhood, 10-15 min walk from the French Quarter. My daughter loved the bunk bed in room 8.

Cons:

I assumed a staff member would be present at the property because we did not receive any check in instructions. However, no staff is present and you need to enter using an access code. Upon arrival, after a 6 hour drive with two toddlers, I requested the code via the booking.com chat, without response. I called the contact number registered on booking.com around 10 times. No response. We called the booking.com helpdesk and they also could not reach the host. We were then lucky that other guests just happened to go outside. They indicated that the host is responsive on Airbnb so they helped us find the Airbnb listing and contact the host that way, which finally worked. If those other guests did not happen to walk out in that moment, who knows when and if we would’ve been able to contact the host. The host then blamed the booking.com automated messaging system. As if a host is not expected to be responsive to messages on all platforms where the property is listed. Very unprofessional experience.

A great way to spend time in New Orleans

Localização , perto do centro mais antigo e turístico da cidade

Cons:

A acomodação é um hostel (com cozinha e sala comunitárias ) A casa é antiga e precisa de manutenção. O chuveiro tem pouca pressão e as paredes estão descascando . Se vai ficar pouco tempo , ok… mas no quarto não tem fogão (somente as panelas). O trinco da porta estava quebrado

Pros:

it was very nice cool seating spots and hot tub.

Cons:

We found two live roaches in our room and one went through the wall in the wall behind the fridge.

It was a very quiet and comfortable stay
Pros:

I loved the location. Frenchmen Street was a 10 minute walk away. The neighborhood was quiet.

It was a great stay!
Pros:

Nice location. Beautiful home. Best mattress we’ve ever slept on. No parking but wasn’t difficult to get one close enough.

Cons:

Liked everything, would recommend a few things. Had some questions about the brand of mattress that went unanswered twice but it was the most comfortable bed we have ever slept on! I would recommend some black out curtains, lots of light comes in. Also would recommend a stand up/tall mirror in the bedroom area, difficult to get ready with a mirror in the bathroom when it’s being used.

I love this property and the location is wonderful, but it could use some sprucing up.
Pros:

I love the charm of the such a beautiful old building. The location is amazing.

Cons:

I’ve stayed here many times. I wish they would upgrade the beds. I’ve never experienced this here before, but there were bags of laundry in the hallway all day Monday. It made whole building smell musty and damp.

so much character and charm. It just felt good to be there.
Pros:

Tons of character. Well stocked kitchenette with dishes and flatware and cups, etc. microwave and refrigerator. lots of comfortable pillows on each bed. Lots of patio, courtyard, and porch space to spread out and relax on the property.
