It was in a good location
Dirty, no hot water staff said it would be working in 30 minutes but it never worked. No staff on the desk at check in or at check out so couldn’t make a complaint. The room was dirty there was a stain and hair on the bedding. No fan in the room and the bathroom had black mould around the bath and dirty towels. Very noisy didn’t have any sleep as you can hear all the cars in the car park and the people in other rooms banging the door all night. The room needs decorating there was like white lumps on the wall.
Very disappointed in the hotel and the facilities definitely isn’t worth £89.
The girls on the bar and reception were extremely helpful, polite, and personable. They enhanced our stay. The offer on alcohol this week was incredible, and the food from the restaurant was delicious and good value for money. Nice bar area. Easy to park.
The room (225) was awfully difficult to get to, too many stairs and quite precarious. It was also rather tired, with lots of touching-up required, we don't mind old, but this is in need of a good makeover. Being at the top of the building, it was much too warm, and the fan supplied was insufficient for the weather at this time of the year. Also, very dusty, which set my wife's allergies off something rotten. There was no housekeeping either, so we had to bring any rubbish or dishes from room service down ourselves, which we do not mind doing normally, but those stairs!. That said, we have stayed a number of times and we will again. Thank you.
Beautiful
Breakfast presentation and content need significant improvement.
The hall and grounds are lovely
The staff friendly
Nice big rooms with great sized beds.
Not keen on self check in especially for more than 1 room
Could have done with slip mat for the bath/shower.
It was in the perfect location for where I needed to be… free parking was a bonus.. the property itself was quirky with a mixture of old & new look … the food was exceptional, however I only had my evening meal but the quality was excellent!!
The room could do with some updating… I don’t know what was happening underneath the bottom sheet as something was lumpy but it didn’t stop me on getting a good sleep… I was shocked to find all the sheets lying on the floor outside the rooms of those who were checking out which I feel are not very hygienic as they are lay on the carpet in the corridor.
The location and facilities were excellent. We attended a wedding and the staff were very welcoming and friendly
There isn’t anything we didn’t like about the property
Beautiful location, good breakfast choice
Room very small and lighting not good
Reception staff are very welcoming an helpful as always.
Bar/lounger area is loverly
No hot water from the shower.
Breakfast was limited at the beginning of service.
Rooms have very limited sound proofing
The room was in the old part of Mosborough Hall, and featured wood panelled walls and a lovely very comfortable four poster bed. There was a Nespresso coffee machine along with a kettle and further tea and coffee, and replenishments were available upon request.
The bathroom featured a shower which was bright and airy, Personal care essential were supplied, including a comb and a razor pack.
Evening food was very tasty and well presented, along with an excellent breakfast.
The staff were very helpful and genuinely pleased to see guests.
We are planning to return in the near future
The shower was a little disappointing, where you almost had to run round to get wet, as the water pressure was very low, but this is the only niggle, everything else was great.
I love it here. The hotel staff can’t do enough and are lovely. They do everything to accommodate your needs, and each time I have stayed here they have provided a modern, quiet room, and a clean modern bathroom. The setting is in beautiful tree lined garden. Very peaceful
There was one room they showed me where the bathroom needed re grouting
Breakfast was the only thing we liked about our stay
The room was very dated, mouldy seal around the bath also hairs,we found mouldy milk in the cupard from the previous guests.
The robes where a washed out white with missing ties so useless, there where also children playing under the window on gravel with a million fag butts the staff told me the council place people and children in the hotel fleeing domestic abuse i was not inpressed with this as we where there to relax and paid alot of money and to also feel sad.
Wouldent recommend and will not be returning..
The setting and the grounds are fantastic and hidden away. The staff were very helpful upon arrival to check in. The hotel is in a great location and with easy commute to motorway and Local amenities.
Great place
All good
