Hotel weigert sich trotz freier Zimmer die Buchung zu ändern un Booking reagiert überhaupt nicht

Ich hatte versehentlich ein Zimmer mit einem statt 2 Queen Betten gebucht. Obwohl freie Zimmer vorhanden waren und ich den geringen Aufpreis gern bezahlt hätte, weigerte sich die Managerin und sagte dass sie nichts machen könne und ich mich an Booking wenden müsse, da ich über Booking gebucht hätte.
Nach einigen Diskussionen war sie bereit Booking anzurufen, hat aber angeblich als Antwort bekommen, dass sie sich als Partner identifizieren solle und man sie zurückrufen würde. Das geschah aber innerhalb 1 Stunde nicht,

Mein Hinweis dass auf der Seite von Booking steht, dass ich bei einem Wunsch wegen der Bettenart das Hotel ansprechen solle, wurde ignoriert - sie spreche kein Deutsch,

3 Nachichten die ich an Booking in der Zeit geschrieben habe wurden auch nach Tagen nicht beantwortet.

Statt dort die gebuchten 3 Tage zu übernachten habe ich als Strafe 1 Nacht bezahlt und wir sind - ohne Booking - zu einem anderen Hotel gefahren

Ich habe hunderte Übernachtungen weltweit via Booking gebucht und war zufrieden. Dies jedoch war eine Managerin die anscheinend ein Problem mit Booking hat und eine völlige Fehlleistung von Booking.

Schade das am Ende einer 4 Wochen Reise mit Buchungen via Booking zu erleben.

Big bed and it is very comfortable.

Cons:

The hotel got brown out at least 4 times between 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm. No WIFI was available since the first brown out till I checked out around 9 am next day.

Very Deceiving- Refund worthy...

We booked this room as we have a dance comp in town this weekend in addition to celebrating my husband's birthday. However dispite the concierge being impeccable, Tom's place meal being lovely, our room (232) was disgusting. When we entered it smelled of mould, there was black mould throughout the bathroom and trim falling off walls etc. One piece even fell off while I was sitting at the desk. Im sad that I paid such a fare for such poor quality and conditions. The outside of this property is in poor repair and is not appealing for a Best Western property. I expected much better and feel $50.00 would have been a fare that suited the condition of this facility.

Good location and easy access to the train station and downtown

Breakfast were terrific, lots of choice.
The bar is quaint and cozy, dinner there was great.
Room was fine, comfortable beds.
Hotel need some updating.
Staff was very accommodating.

Our room was not very soundproof. We could hear people upstairs and they were late nighters.

FANTASTIC STAY & MEMORIES!
Pros:

I just wanted to say thankyou for such a lovely stay and give the best recommendation…from the polite and attentive check in to the clean rooms that were cozy and very very comfortable. Immaculately clean and crisp. Nostalgic decor felt like I was staying with family! Loved it! Please don’t change anything!

I met my elderly parents at Tom Place at the hotel which is incredible, the staff are truly amazing and professional. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back! Thankyou!

The Bistro is nice the staff serving in the bistro there are nice, the food was delicious. Breakfast was great.

Cons:

This is the worst hotel overall that I have ever stayed in. It should be a 1 star not a 3 star. The place is dirty full of bugs and the staff are extremely rude. The place is run down. In the middle of nowhere and feels like it’s not been updated in ten years. It should not be a best western but should be a motel at best. Cathy the manager on the front desk is extremely rude and dismissive to customers and does not want to help in anyway whatsoever. I would personally avoid this hotel. Ignore the fantasy suite reviews these suites are outdated and old just like the rest of the hotel. You’re better off staying downtown on the waterfront for the same price.

Okay property but very dated
Pros:

While the room was comfortable and breakfast was fairly good, there are a couple of negatives that stood out for me.
The biggest one is the lack of an elevator. Our room was on the second floor, and we had to drag our suitcases up a flight of stairs.
The hotel itself is very dated, especially the front lobby which was very dark.
The location is not great - not much around it and it’s a ten minute drive to the Kingston waterfront.
Don’t think we would stay at this hotel again..

Ein Hotel mit Entertainmentfaktor durch die liebevoll, phantasievolle Ausstattung!
Pros:

Dieses etwas in die Jahre gekommene, aber sehr gepflegte Hotel besticht ganz besonders durch seine ausgefallene Ausstattung! 😄 Welche einen in eine vergangene Zeit, je nach gewähltem Zimmer / Suite aber auch in eine „Phantasiewelt“ versetzt (Mondlandung, königliche Suite, Reise nach Asien, …) und in der Bar „Toms Place“ in die Blockhütte eines erfolgreichen Jägers ( ein definitives „must see“ !!!) 🤩
