Great Staff at Buxton
Pros:

The Buxton has a great staff, from everyone in the office all the way to all the kitchen team. Everybody was super friendly and went out of their way to acvomodate us.

Cons:

I love the funky design and really enjoyed using the bikes. We had decided to book at the Buxton to use the pool and jacuzzi which was not working while we were there. We were kind of bummed about the pool issue, but the night staff told is about the wellness facility. When we came down to inquire about using it the next morning, the team had a package waiting for us to go use it. That was so sweet!...Also, just realized this question was about what I 'didn't' like- nothing. You should be proud of your team working there, they are great!😊

Pros:

I liked the colors, style, of the rooms. Pink and black. Checkered floor etc. I liked that it had a bar. The food was good.

Cons:

My room didnt have a microwave or fridge. There was.no breakfast yet it is supposed to be a best western?

Without a mini fridge and a coffee maker I have no interest in ever staying there again.
Pros:

The decor is kind of fun and funky. It looks a little like a blend of the roaring 20s and the 60s decor. If you like the color pink, peach, gold and maroon it's your place.

Cons:

They are targeting a very specific individual. If you want a coffee maker, mini fridge or ice maker you are out of luck. Not sure why they would think all of their guests would want to walk or drive somewhere for a cup of coffee instead of having that an option in the room let alone not being able to have a few food or drinks cold since you do not have a mini fridge. They will eventually have red light therapy if that's your jam.

Charming, pleasant
Pros:

The staff were really friendly. The hotel renovation is gorgeous. And the lobby smells amazing! I love the decor that they chose for the renovation. And the story behind the hotel is charming.

En la reserva ponía que estaba incluído el desayuno. He estado en este hotel antes, y efectivamente incluyó desayuno (pan, huevos, salchichas...) pero en esta ocasión no fue así. Dijeron que no tenían cocina y pusieron una jarra de café y unas barritas, pero veo inadecuado poner que el desayuno está incluido cuando realmente no es así, sobretodo en comparación con otras veces en las que me he alojado.

Good stay comfortable rooms. But disappointed because of incorrect information listed on booking.com
Pros:

It was easy to find. The staff was amazing, super nice!! Rooms were comfy but small. Walking distance to downtown stores, restaurants, etc!!

Please note, I am not upset with Best Western.

The property is under construction. There is almost no parking. The pool is closed for renovations which wasn’t listed. Breakfast was suppose to be included, however there wasn’t a breakfast at all, so that information is incorrect. There was no microwave no fridge no coffee maker etc in the room, so if you are expecting that it’s not there. You have to go to the lobby to get ice. These set of rooms were an exterior entrance so if that is an issue pick somewhere else. It is On a busy corner across from college(not an issue for us, we wanted to be right by the school) just a heads up for parents with small children.

The remodeled new rooms are definitely not updated on booking.com website.
Overall disappointed with booking.com lots of incorrect information.
