El desayuno bien, solo que el espacio para desayunar es muy pequeño.
El Internet lento, se perdía la conexión incluso de la televisión. Todo lo demás muy bien. La gente muy atenta. Fue agradable la estancia.
La ubicación es muy buena, se puede recorrer la ciudad con facilidad desde el hotel. Las instalaciones son muy lindas. Tiene un buen cowork para quien lo necesite.
El desayuno podría tener más opciones.

The hotel is close to the city center and has a nice pool.
I booked a room with 32m2 but it was actually less than 20m2. There was no fridge in the room and it was 38° outside. In the morning we waited 20 minutes for breakfast despite the young lady sitting at the counter looking at her phone for so long that my children became very restless. There was very little food, the coffee was very bad and you could only get one type of drink.
Air Condition in the room did not work, with 40 degrees outside temperature. Yet, display of the AC directly over the bed was so bright that it never was dark. The room itself was located under the roof with no window to open. Noone there to fix the problem. Shower and Safe did not work as expected either. Asked for the manager, staff could not speak English. They have given us a whatsapp number for the complain. Still waiting for an answer. Next morning we moved on!
The people were helpful and friendly and the pool area is stunning.
It will be even better when the bar area by the pool is finished.

Location, central but quiet. We walked to most places. Lots of food options nearby. The pool are was fabulous. Staff super helpful. Breakfast was simple but cooked to order.
Room did not have a mini fridge. In theses hot temperatures it would have been nice to keep beverages cool in room. Also a long mirror in the room is needed.

we paid for parking on arrival. they stored our car on the first night. on the second night we could not access the car park and we informed the staff. we parked on the street. every subsequent night the car park was not accessible. they refused to refund us for the parking

Don't book here! The Ontico Hotel in Merida, represents itself as a luxury boutique hotel on the internet...showing light airy rooms and a sweet pool complete with cabanas. Nothing could be further from the truth. We were booked March 19th through the 26th.
What we found....The room was dark, dirty and smelled of mold. The pool was cloudy and the cabanas were stained and dirty. The desk in the room was covered in coffee cup stains and only offered one coffee cup (in a room for two) with a dirty spoon and to top that, the toilet did not flush properly. These issues lead to our immediate decision to leave and find alternate accommodation. And we did.
The Ontico Hotel has not offered a refund event though the cancellation was due to the lack of standards that it represents itself.
We have both lived in Mexico and this was not representative of the Mexico we know and love. So, you've been warned.
